I am surprised at $1600. The CM is the same scale, doesn't have 1/2 an Alien in it and sells for 4k now!
I think no EX sucks every orifice in a bad way but since they will probably sell 2000 of these they will barely hold their value which is a ____ing shame.

I don't know if you have the CM, but I think the base is so much better and more elaborate then this wolf one, not even close. The Alien is basically the same color of the base, which is pretty lame. I think this will be 2k like the others, but I think the CM brings more bang for the buck at that price.

Btw- we still don't know what scale this is in, I don't think it would make much sense to have this in 1/3 scale when SS doesn't make anything in that scale, so ppl are going to have ask themselves if they will pay 2k for a 1/4 (is my guess for scale) piece with no ES. I think a lot will pass regardless how bad ass it looks.

apparently there is no Ex for this. All switch out parts are part of one regular edition.

Thats great and fair because this statue is expensive enough for 2 versions so the people get 2 versions for one price that will be awesome

well it's gonna be open ES anyways, so there's no point in having a exclusive. Whatever scale he is in, I will just wait for a great deal on one.........in prolly like 3 years :slap

I still don't understand why sideshow decided to go with open edition with their lsf line. Don't you think there will be more people buying this if this has a limited edition? :dunno

Ok which one would you rather buy
Wolf lsf for $1800 with no ES or
Wolf lsf for $1800 with 500 ES :cuckoo:

the world will never know. It's saved me a lot of $$$ though, so I'm not complaining too much. If these had a ES, even at 2k, I prolly would've ordered IM or Wolvie.

Yup same here, what sideshow did make absolutely no sense to me.

No ES is good as it means he won't be sold for stupid prices in the future.

But no ES could also mean you will sell it at way below retail price if for some reasons you have to sell it unless you plan to keep it forever.

I see your point but for us guys who can't afford the price tag initially there may be an opportunity later on down the line to get it alot cheaper.

They left the whole line open because they are unsure about the sales on these and don't want to risk have a 100 of the big boxes sitting in the warehouse. Now that these are open I have no rush to buy them so I will wait until I can get one for $1,000 5 years down the road so it's really not a problem. You would think the more expensive the product the rarer it would be but nope, they did the Optimus Prime exclusive right though at least.
