I think garbage is a little harsh, I for one look forward to see what he's all about. Although I have a sneaking suspicion that he may be somewhat mistransformed. That seems to be happening more and more with Hasbro's promotional shots.

Well I didn't say it was garbage, but it looks like it in that picture. If it's mistransformed, or forced perspective, or whatever else then that's Hasbro's bad. Look at his arms, for the love of all that's holy. LOOK AT HIS ARMS!! Looks like a circus sideshow freak.

Hey guys just a heads up from Seibertron.com and TFW2005.com. Apparently a number of members of those sites have had some fraudulent charges made on their cards in regards to TF purchases at online stores. No one really knows what online store it could be from some think it's TFSource others think it's BBTS or TFCC.

I recently had a fraudualent charge on my card. It was around the time that I bought from BBTS but I also bought from TA, and MonkeyDepot at the same time too so it could've happened at any of those places. If you haven't you may want to check your account to see if you might have any unauthorized purchases.

Transformers community warning!

In the past few days, we have received emails from several fellow Seibertronians that they recently had fraudulent activity on their credit or debit cards. If you've recently ordered a Transformers item online, you should double check your credit and bank accounts to verify whether or not any unauthorized charges have appeared or if there are any pending charges for suspicious activity.

If you found something fishy like a Sharkticon with one of your accounts, please let us know and where you might have used your card online recently for Transformers purchases. Hopefully we can all collectively figure out where the source of the problem is!

Thank you for helping out and doing your part to keep the online Transformers community safe and informed. Happy hunting!

Over the last several days, a higher than normal amount of Transformers fans have been reporting fraudulent charges on their credit cards.

Due to the higher-than-normal amount of fans on our forums mentioning a breach, we want to give you a heads up. We have no confirmation at this time exactly where this breach happened. Please check your accounts accordingly.

Better check the CC... :(

Differences between First Edition Hasbro/Takara is just paint. The RID figures are entirely new. No Takara versions of them seen yet, so no word if they will look better or not, but they will have Minicons that turn into weapons. No pic of RID Bulkhead yet, but he IS coming.

Are there any really good comparisons between the FE Deluxes?

You'd think TFW2005 would have some, but I can't find any...

I just rounded out my Deluxe crew with Bumblebee. I was thinking about springing for the Takara versions but what with the FE fiasco going on I got what I could.

I don't know - the Takara Tomy Voyagers are obviously nicer but I can't see any differences between the Deluxes...

here's a video with a good comparison between FE and RID Deluxe Cliffjumper:

but from what I've seen in pics, the RID deluxes are smaller. And looking at the pics of BB, you can see at the shoulders were the FE version actually uses the wheels like it's supposed to, where as the shoulders are just molded onto the figure for the RID version. in his review peaugh talks about the RID deluxe Cliffjumper uses more "fake" parts instead of the actual pieces from the car mode and the same looks to be for RID BB just judging solely from pics. The chest area on the FE BB is also more accurate that the RID version despite the fact that it does have an Autobot logo on it. The only benefit I see to RID BB is the dual arm cannons where as the RID version only has one

and here's his review of RID Voyager Optmius with a comparison to the FE version. I do agree with the RID prime being a fun figure and having a more accurate truck mode but I do disagree about 2 things in his review though. 1) the shins plug in just fine and stay in pretty snugglely on my RID Optimus so he may of just got a loose one. 2) I know it's weird to judge someone on how they transformer these, but I will say that it's a much smoother transformation if you for the back or "cape" first then do the legs, followed by the arms and what not. a minor nit to an overall good review. I always watch his reviews and they're good but those are 2 things that bothered me a bit about this one :lol

Yeah the arms are ridiculous looking. I'm really hoping its mistransformed. I love the how the bots look individually, but the arms just look silly on Bruticus.

As for the fraudulent card charges, from what I have read its mostly those who placed an order for the Transformers Collectors Club figure. This might not be the only place affected but hope this helps.

:yess:Called target and they had 1 case of deluxe in the back, the employee put the set of 4 on hold for me. He also said there are 4 voyagers in the back but he cant get to it now. But when I come to pick up the deluxe that someone could pull it out for me.

Hope it's not too late to cancel my etoys order.

With my luck someone had beat me to Megatron, good thing it was too late to cancel my etoys order with Megatron. But glad I was able to bring these home tonight. Honestly Optimus is not that bad in hand, but the blue arms gotta go, but I still yet to see how I would feel once I get my FE Optimus Prime.

Soundwave is boss! I didn't really care about him until Airachnid confronted him. Hoping to see him in more in action in season 2. Didn't really like his design but it grew on me.

I guess to each their own, but I thought his design was a PERFECT update to the G1 version. Back in the day we used small devices and recorders to collect sensitive data, now in the 21st Century we use sophisticated UAV's. While it was no doubt FUNKY at first, it made sense.

I didnt mean his alt mode, I meant his robot mode design is like the drone bots and doesn't look that menacing at first. He looked like a generic weak decepticon. But like Soundwave, looks can be deceiving.

Scored Soundwave and Wheeljack today! It sure paid to know the difference between a set date and a street date. Thanks guys for posting all the DPCI info and all that.

Really liking both these figures... I posted a review in my blog: https://collecting-toys.blogspot.com/

Now I'm wondering if I should have gotten Megatron, too... but I think a better one will come out? Weird that I'm going to be missing the two main leaders in my collection for a while. :horror

Ah, thanks, but I was talking about comparisons between the US and Takara Tomy First Editions. :)

Sweet, thanks Ra, I will definitely check this out!

Gotcha totally misread your post. Ages 3 and up have comparison pics of all the US vs Takara FE figures

https://www.agesthreeandup.com/collections/transformers-prime

I kind of wish I had seen these earlier. Probably would have preordered them all. Then again, I did save a boatload of money... Bumblebee is kind of tempting, but the rest are only marginally better looking.

By that I of course mean the deluxes... The Takara voyagers are pretty obviously nicer looking. I think I had better go and preorder a Takara Megatron, actually...

Well I don't "play" with them. I mean most of my TFs are in a Detolf. I do occasionally take them out to transform them. I mean when folks have been saying that you can't play with him, are y'all talking about it in terms of like how a kid would play with toys? I mean I would like to be able to strike a pose with it and if I can't even do that then the DMK is really not for me then

You can pose him, but it's very fragile. You WILL have a small piece fall off here and there, unless you glue the most troublesome ones.
