You can flame me all you want, but this is almost dead-on P1. Man, the 1/4 is going to kick so much ass!

No ____. :lol There's a reason why everyone considerers HT the best at what they do.

Ugh, why do you always do that...

Don't get me wrong; I'm getting out of NECA completely, but using my post as a jumping-off point to do what you're best at is more than a little off-putting.

EDIT: Didn't see your edit. Why are you getting out of NECA? I though you were one of their biggest fans?

But the need seems so slight now that Classic is so similar that I don't think it's gonna happen for several years if at all. The guys that want 99.99% Winston accuracy are such a niche group that I'm not sure HT is gonna go all out trying to cater to them at the moment.
:lecture Agreed. The number of Predator fans is quite limited as it is.

I dare you to say that in the AVP Lovin' thread.:lol
:lol

Well I suppose I could, but I wasn't trying to troll (and in that thread, that's exactly what that would be). Just stating my opinion on them. I know they have their charm to some, but personally I'll just say that I'm very glad that HT are not nostalgic to their more antiquated designs and are moving upward and onward!

And to clarify my point there, I meant guys who will only buy an HT Predator that is extremely accurate. Yes, we can all complain about this or that, but at the end of the day, we're buying this figure, are we not? And I think most of us acknowledge that though this figure has its deficiencies (as all do), it's damn good and we're pretty fortunate to be living in a time when such an awesome thing exists!

Right on. I do find the AVP figures charming (that's actually a good way to put it), but I'll sell them in a heartbeat if we get upgrades. Wouldn't hurt to get some real linebacker Predators in the collection.

He does scream P1 out at me when I look at him. I know some of you like him as Classic but in all honestly he looks more accurate to P1 than he does to how Classic looked in the film.

I'd like quills on the 1/6 figures too. They'd have to be removable though so we could fit the mask on.

:slap, damn, I keep forgetting that darn 'Bio-mask' yeah, quills seem very impractical. Removable quills would make the pred look like a teenybopper with zitts all over his face:rotfl (not that the AVP Elder looks that way, but hey it does when you take a hot needle to his face :panic:)

No doubt. Especially when they're saying that the 1:4 scale allows for better details.

Packet of pigs blood? Nice! :lol

It's either removable quills or they need to give us 2 heads.

No rush... I personally don't care for the trophies on classic predator. I guess I just haven't seen anyone get them to fit him right yet.

Ah, there we are, quills on the Classic, very nice. r5150s, what material did you use on the quills, are they static or bendy?:wave

@greygoose, two HS would be epic on the 1:4, the price would be :thud:

they are bendy..rubber really :) i got it from home depot, it's a two part putty that you knead together..i forgot what brand it is but you can find it where the wood fillers are...

i plan to put more quills on him like on the chest, legs and the sides of the body as soon as i get my bone trophies :)
