It's a great figure for sure, I just wouldn't pay more than $130 for it. Maybe $140 considering the apparent price hikes, but it's still a very stripped-down piece.

Yeah I saw when you said that in your video review.
Since then the price gone up so no longer can I get it for that much.
Just have to keep my eye on fleabay now for it.

Yeah I'd wait for a proper T-800 endo remake or rerelease. Unless HT has decided they don't like Terminator anymore it will happen.

Yeah, not for the T-700... I think more people would have bought it if it had some weapons or other accesory other than that yellow factory floor stand. But it's till an amazingly complex bit of engineering work on it's own.

It's basically identical to the T-800 except for the textured finish and paint.

I for one do not mind either the T800 from T1 or T2.
The chrome finish is a classic look for it so thats why its more popular I guess.

Quick question, um... does the HT T1 T-800 come with a second neck peg for the alternate head? I'm thinking of selling the parts of my Police Station Shootout custom and I can't remember if I bought a second neck peg or if it came with the original figure (eBay won't show me purchases from long ago).

It must have been right at the transition point when Skynet was getting ready to phase out the T-600's. I don't remember seeing any T-700's outside of the factory.

Yeah I agree. Looked like they were building them as replacements for the T600s. The T600 does look very cool though! Would have loved a HT figure of him.

:lol They've already made several version of the T-600. It's got even kinkier articulation the 700/800's.

As far as John Connor was concerned they were T-800s. I don't recall any mention of '700' in the actual film.

I don't think they have a data plate printed on them. :lol

The Endoskeletons in the factory were definitely T-700's.
I've always preferred to think of them as T-800 prototypes. They run on the same fuel source, they have the same capabilities, but the T-700 was the early, grimier version (a shiny Endo would look a little out-of-place in that environment).

Technically, this means the Arnold we saw was also a T-700 -- but again, they're basically the same. The T-800 is just the more-polished version once they've worked out the kinks. Therefore, it was okay for John to call them T-800's instead.

I think of the T-700 as your stock standard soldier model, and the T-800 as an infiltrator that has all the extra features needed to mimic humans.
