Great pick ups!! I'm sad the Best Buy coupon program is over now. :monkey2

Yeah, Logan's run for $5 and FaFDM for $7 ! I thought that was deal. Plus $10 for CE.

It will be back. This one was two or three weeks, the first one was only one week. It will be back. :1-1:

Follow up on my purchases.

The Surround Sound Audio on Master and Commander is insane!

The creaks and groans of the ship and lapping waves throughout the movie are sensational, you actually feel closed in on a ship. The movie is dialogue heavy, but the action scenes have great sounds as well. One scene in particular takes place below the deck and sailors are running on the deck. It actually sounded as if they were running upstairs in my home, very well done, I swear the sound was above my head. I've had Surround Sound for many years, this is one of the better ones I've heard.

I picked it up for $7.99 on Amazon, it was well worth it!

Hey gang, as I buy Blu Ray titles to replace my DVD's I no longer have use for them. What's a fair price for used DVD's? I think I'm going to sell them on the board.

Hadn't planned on picking up anything today, but ended up buying three blus. Isn't that the way it goes?

But what's up with the stores today? I swung by Meijers because I had $20 in bottle returns and thought I'd check out their price on this week's releases. Sure enough, Drive was a buck cheaper than any where else at $19, but I had a Hell of a time searching around to find their last copy. What? I bought it.

Then I swing over to Best Buy, because I've got $10 in RZ that I need to spend this month, plus a $3 off 100th Anniversary coupon. BB's price on the Thing was $20, and To Kill a Mockingbird (one of the 100th Ann. releases) was just $18. I figured I'd get the two for $25, which I did - but I bought the last copy of BOTH of those as well! They had a ton of Drive and In Time, but The Thing wasn't even up front - I had to go to the regular shelves to find it, and it was the last copy. Weird...

Quite a good release day!

All on blu:
Drive
To Kill a Mockingbird
Adaptation
The Thing (2011)

Kick@$$
When Harry Met Salley

I totally forgot To Kill A Mockingbird came out this week! :horror

Is Universal actually putting that awful looking 100th Anniversary banner across the top of their cases?
