May happen, but not until they have made him in the scheduled 1/4 scale. In other words; not any time soon within the next 3 or 4 years IMO.

You never know though. Going by the announcement we've got P1, P2 (1/6), Elder, Scar, Wolf and Dutch (1/4 confirmed) to be made in 1/6 or 1/4, or even both...

That's a good 2-3 years worth of Predator there.

I do not think anybody should change their buying habits because of the announcement. If you want a Dutch buy the one thats out now. Don't wait in case they make a new one. The only thing that is safe to wait for at the moment is a 1:6 P2. Anything else is speculation. We saw Scar in the works but its up in the air if its 1:6 or 1:4.

All though personally i think the sculpt was 1:5 and think can be shrank down or blown up to either scale so i reckon there will be 2 versions.

It makes me cringe when i see people say they will not buy a Classic and they will wait for the P1 remake.

Well. A 1/4 Dutch isn't speculation.

Owned the original Dutch but sold it a year or so back. Really hope for a new 1/6 one but will be getting the 1/4 of him and the Predator too anyway.

Well, Hot Toys have announced things for the last few years thats never materialised. So until we see stuff in the early stages i take stuff with a pinch of salt.

The whole project sounds very ambitious. and i dont even think we will see all 5 of the things pictured for at least a few years if at all.

Indeed. You'll have time to own the Classic figure and sell it on by the time (if ever) a 1/6 P1 gets remade.

This is the attitude I've developed with my short history (1 year) of collecting Hot Toys figures.

In short, I'll believe it when it's in my hands.
