I hope that it's a bad picture....I can't believe that HT has decided to change the sculpt....

I! HS looks really strange in that photo for some reason... the yellow bat symbol is distracting, should have made it white.

I've been looking at that pic for a while and I think it's just the lighting making Jack's smile look different. Lots of shadows going on in that display case.

Here's a photo of the prototype in similar lighting conditions for comparison. The final is less wide-eyed and maybe more sinister. Looks like it could be his "come on you gruesome sonova_____" face.

Yeah, looking at the proto pic and prod pic together like that almost confirms to me it's just a lighting/shadows issue. Time will tell.

man, it better be the lighting. he looks like a little gremlin in that shot. that would be a real shame if they changed hiss sculpt. a real shame. that proto head was the best headsculpt hot toys did to date.

Seems every time a Hot Toys figure is about to be released some badly distorted cell phone pictures from the Toy Hunters store display emerge and make everyone question the sculpt. Then the figure releases and looks fine. I wouldn't worry about it.

What? You mean like Indy?


This was (is) one of the best sculpts Hot toys have ever shown us in proto form. It has been universally hailed as an amazing Joker.
If they changed the sculpt on this one, there will be outrage. I can never understand why some people need high rez, high quality pics to be able to see
differences in sculpts. I don't mean this one particularly. A bad picture of a cow is not mistakable for a good picture of a sheep.

Let's pray they haven't changed this one. Like they should have changed DX05.

Touche Indy was a huge let down for me. I only hope Hot Toys takes another stab at a proper Indy sculpt so I can just buy the head and put it on my Raiders body. I was more speaking of the outrage over CR Superman, Alice, Sparrow...All turned out fine, Supes and Capt. Jack are the best head sculpts yet IMHO.

Seems to be stretched making him seem fatter. Wish Hot Toys would release hi-res final production photos before they shipped, but then they would get so many cancellations I suppose.

Something's up with the paint around the eyes. Way too much green there for it to just be shadows.

It's probably just a combination of poor lighting and a crappy cellphone camera... Cause it looks like half of his eyebrows are gone too... And I can reassure you that HT did not tweeze The Joker's eyebrows to death...

*more shadows cause the hat is sitting on his head more as opposed to slightly tilted like the other pic.

The headsculpt has definitely changed. No question about it. But it may have changed for the better. We'll need better photos to know for sure.

The new head is less wide-eyed.

If they screwed this up in any way, I'm dropping Hot Toys like a sack of ____. I can see something like Indy, where the sculpt wasn't that great to begin with, but when everyone praises your sculpt, and regards it as one of the greatest you've ever done, if you mess it up, it looks pretty bad to the fans.
