a hollow polystone enviro of the pod is just what SSC do best

Well said, but...

If someone's trying to create the "look sir..." scene, you don't need the droids, and I'd (assume) the enviro guys would be different sculptors to the character guys, so SSC could be running this project simultaneously?

Personally, that whole scene; troopers, pod, dewbacks, etc would look unbelievably cool in a 1/6 collection.

The Pod in 1:6 would be so big, that is nearly impossible to display with all the other stuff.

The pod I think wouldn't be that big as its lying on its side. So you could probably get away with a very long dio.

or 3/4 of it.
remembering that the front part is in sand.
So a base like the Dewbacks but with 3/4 of the pod pointing back on an angle.
The droids don't belong in that scene as it is further on but.....

it apparently being a somewhat droid yr next yr with general G and the battle droids...you just never know when Sideshow will break R2 and 3PO out!!

The color in hand is just about the same as the pics maybe a tad lighter with some strong light on it.

I prefer the 'greener' look from the 'brown' prototype pics. I might consider a flex on this and the Sandtrooper.

Can't wait for my final flex payment on this one so I can get him in hand. The only problem is I don't have an open spot for him right now. Some stuff might have to get put away, maybe my HT Robocop & ED-209, that might open up enough space. Oh well, sacrifices must be made for my favorite OT beast, the 8 year old boy inside me that fell in love with that creature will allow nothing else.

Siiiiiiiigggghh...had to cancel my order for this because the combination of Christmas and HT hits like Jack Sparrow and Supes proved to be financially bad news for my dewie. Will have to back and scoop one up once Christmas has passed, the pics prove this thing is a must have, at least to my way of thinking.
