Three weeks ago, I got one of these. I took one look at it, saw the indent on the side of the figure, as well as a giant shiny forehead. I promptly sent it back to SS. After Maglor's photos, there was no way I was going to spend $200 on a figure, wrestle with CS to get proper replacements for the defective parts, and then watch it deteriorate in a matter of weeks/months.

I bought the Cian head which came in today, and put it on my MMS13 figure. For $30.00, I am content.

Looks good to me. :duff

...but I'm distracted by him holding a TDK cowl. :panic: :lol

Maglor did you have a good imagination when you were a youngster or did everything have to be just so?

Got my replacement body today... he fused wrist was solved, but ironically the replacement had the SAME problem of the right ankle peg beng fused to the right boot. I had asked them to disassemble every peg and all and ship separately. They did that for the wrists, but... also the replacements left ankle is floppy and loose, it comes of pop whenever you try to pose the ankles. Also they shipped it covered in lots of brown paper. small minute dusty bits of which now cover the whole rubber body and cling to i tight enough that a stiff brush has little effect in rubbing them off :dunno

EDIT: I now realise that the replacement boots ankle peg is actually broken.

i think that HS looks great ,just a question ,i have a medi batman begins v1 ,that i have moved over to a hot toys tt ,i was thinking of cutting out the face and eye sections of the medi cowl and fitting it over that head sculpt ,do you think that would work ,ill proabley have to cut the HS ears hair etc ,anyone tried something similar ,any input would be great cheers chris

You know, I'm intrigued now Professor.

I don't think I've ever seen the MMS67/MMS155 ex. cowl/Batman head on the MMS13 Begins body. Hmm, I wonder how that would look.

As a youngster I had a great imagination.

...and everything had to be just so. :lol

To be serious though, I frequently swapped the masks on my M.A.S.K. figures for aesthetic purposes. :D

My batsuit has these dents on the manboobs. I'm sure most of have seen similar damage, but I just wanted to share mine anyway. The harness has been off as soon as I got it out of the box three weeks ago.

I'm debating whether or not I should return it to Sideshow...what do you guys think?

Other than the small specs of dust on it (which is unavoidable) I think it looks pretty damn good compared to some of the horrors I've seen.

I'd keep it. I mean, I see the little indents you're talking about where the harness was, but other than that, the suit looks quite good.

Yeah, I'd keep it too.

You may want to try easing those dents out with a blowdryer if you know how to do it without damaging the rubber.

Thanks guys for the input :)

I'll think it over again about returning it...but I dare not mess with it using a blow dryer because I know I'm just gonna eff it up.

Unfortunately I think I'm a lil bit OCD when it comes to this stuff. The dents aren't really that bad but just because I know it's there I can't take my eyes off of them...especially when the figure is $225.

I'm the same way but some stuff you just have to let go. Honestly, I don't think I have a "perfect" figure. They all have something wrong with them, be it a small paint rub, a loose true type joint or what have you. That's the nature of the hobby.

Now, if it's a huge problem like deterioration, actual broken pieces, then yeah, nobody should except that. Just the same, if you're not happy (and you shouldn't need us to know if you're content with your purchase) then by all means, take that figure back.

Right boot socket is ng. :gah:

Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Besides ebay? Gougers are out in force!
