If it was part of the Jim Lee PF line than they would call it a premium format figure and not a comiquette.

They wouldn't be able to. You will not see a Silver Surfer, Ice Man, Iron Man, Venom, or Carnage PF. There is no way to add a mixed medium to them for their uniforms/costumes. That is why they are all 1/4 scale comiquettes. It is a restriction of the PF format. Thankfully, comiquettes have no such restrictions. That is why it has always been my preferred format. Now, if only we can get SSC to produce all comiquettes in 1/4 scale....we would be in business.:lecture

Just incase some of the our fellow freaks didn't know what the pose would look like.

Uhhhhhh....not what I was expecting. LOL Geezus, with Sideshow it's either hit or miss. They really need to throw the art director, or whoever comes up with some of these poses/ideas, out on his ass.

X-Men:
1/4 Com: Magik
1/4 PF: Wolverine, Rogue, Gambit, Emma (!), Mystique, Colossus
1/5 Com: Emma, Mystique, Darkchild, Back Queen, Wolverine, Psylocke
There's a 1/4 X-Men comiquette. Is the 1/5 line messed up now? (I contend it was never a proper "line" to begin with).
Just FYI, the original Wolverine comiquette is 1/4th. The artist use to have a webpage with his WIP (I am sure there is a link here somewhere) and it was listed as 1/4th. He may be smaller than the other PFs, but he is not 1/5th. The Wolverine comiquette is roughly 15 inches tall and the Colossus comiquette is 17 inches tall. If Wolverine was 1/5th, Colossus would tower over him.

Also, Mystique, Rogue, Psylocke, White/Black Queen, Dark Child were all considered Ladies of Marvel Lines (AH!/Mark Brooks) and were called 1/5th from the start.

The only comiquette that I can think of that had a screwy scale from the start was was Magneto and MAYBE the first Ironman comiquette.

I knew it was going to have the silver surfer feel to it. The pose is almost identical, even to the last detail of the cosmic ray's coming from surfers finger tips and ice coming from icemans, nice try douchebags, you would think they would have learned something from the lack of sales of the surfer. Stop pumping crap that consumers dont want, listen to your customers for once. NEXT!

But there are 1/4 comiquettes. It's the scale and costume that makes them match, not the type of statue. This Iceman has the right costume, but appears to be 1/5 from what we can tell. But PFs and Coms will mix when necessary.

Guys, you both are totally right, but what I was responding to xYx's remark about this possibly being part of the JIM LEE PF line. If that was the case it would not be called a comiquette but a PF. That it's not possible to make a PF of Iceman is true. I just don't think this is part of the Jim Lee X-Men line. It would look great in 1:4 next to the PF's though.

Albeit the Surfer sold slow it did eventually sellout. The pose is good enough to sale. It's the scaling that going to make this a hot or lukewarm seller.

This Iceman Comiquette is hot, I mean cold :D

Some complain about boring pose; now this is one dynamic pose. And I don't see the connection with Silvber Surfer's pose.

ill admit that the clear variant looks cool (no pun intended).

for a premium format iceman, maybe cloth doesnt necessarily make it premium format... SSC might release a clear-glass variant... then again the breakage and return rate would probably be higher than normal.

his belt might be cloth..

I think he pose is not optimal but ain't horrible either, just mediocre. If he 1/4 I will probably pick him up if 1/5 then I'll pass.

Darkchilde is not part of the AH/Brooks lines, she is just a regular Marvel comiquette release. :wink1:
