I recall hearing that the donut is a fan made piece like the Davy Jones piano, both of which I'd buy immediately

I've been planning on making the big donut, but I haven't decided what material to use yet.
I'm thinking of casting it in light weight styrofoam, coated with a hard-shell epoxy.

Yeah they were made for Shows and conventions.

I'd hate think what HT would charge for that Donut, it'd be an Iron Man piece, so'd have a licensing fee

It was both. They built half a donut to shot RDJ on and also shot the exterior of the donut shop with SLJ.

now that ht makes this. i think the possibility of whiplash getting released will be bigger as well. oh man so excited. i never thought of getting iron man figure, but this figure is just an exception

They are talking about his final battle suit. Anyone have pictures of clear shots of the suit?
They didn't really show the suit like they did with Iron Monger.

Ha, don't forget about the Clones Whiplash made & there was 4 different versions of them. They would look real cool though

I agree, the Hammer Drones would be cool to see made, but I'm not sure if sales demand would support it. I'm thinking $200+ ea for 'bots whose main filmed accomplishment was to be rapidly converted to scrap by Iron Man and War Machine might be too much for all but the most hardcore IM fans.

I'm not a huge fan of the Whiplash 2 design. I like that it looks like it was built from multiple drones and has that sort of piecemeal appearance that the Mark I has, just made with better components. It looks fairly ugly design wise, I think intentionally, but I also don't really like looking at it. It's not something I would want on my shelf.

That design really reminds me of like a cross between War Machine and a Predator

The Whiplash Mark 2 is the only Whiplash I'd want anymore. I think the armored version would make a nice tie in to the armored line of IM figures, and would be great display with the Mark 6 & War Machine.
