How about ..

David Bowie as The Goblin king from Labyrinth.

As simplistic as it may be Tony Soprano done by Rainman would be a dream! Hell I would love Christopher and Paulie to go with  :lol

Others that I think have real Rainman potential would be

Travis Bickle
Deckard
Wonka (Wilder)
Doc Holiday
Patrick Bateman
Daniel Plainview

If Max wins this we sure as ____ better get Snake Plissken in the near future. Especially with the new muscle bodies coming.

If rainman hasn't seen it, get him on it Ted!

A great Kurt Russel figure has been a long time coming.

I'd like to, but I am not paying $800 for a action figure. :dance

There was a thread yesterday linked to a site with people saying collectors were crazy paying hot toys prices. They should link them to this thread. :rotfl
There's always the clothing set's for the average of $400 - 460 with a painted head. I'm sure it will look incredible if it gets made.

So 46 people are saying they are interested in buying a $700 Mad Max figure, but no one is interested in the head that's being offered in the sale section? With all the recipes that have appeared on this board and that head you could put together a really nice MM for less than half of what this would cost. I didn't vote because I haven't seen any figure I could pay that kind of money for. However I might change my mind if RM made a Ramirez from Highlander. I find it interesting how so many people say they want something, then when it's time to pony up the money they disappear. Good luck to RM's regular customers. Hope you get what you want.

^^ Yeah, this is not the best way of determining true interest by Rainman's real clientele, as has previously been discussed. But. . .still interesting to see. Plus, Max's outfit would be no walk in the park. Maybe one could conceivably be put together for less than a Rainman figure, but that assumes you've got rudimentary customization skills. . .which, if many of us possessed, would mean that we wouldn't have to pay so much for these customs :lol

I wish I had faith that there were no fake accounts being used, because then at least we would get an impression for what the geek collecting community is really most interested in, anyway.

I honestly don't know if it would be Marty or Mad Max.

I voted for Marty and I've previously bought from Rainman, though not for a full figure. Just head and clothing sets. He does a great job on clothes.

Technically for David all we need is a the coat and sculpt everything else can be pretty much bashed .. if not done by Rainman i'd love to make him using a sculpt by Denny kim's team and the coat done by kato.

Assuming you mean Snyder-man's thread, I watch it closely and have ordered the head in question. I have several of the Joy & Tom Studio heads, have never been disappointed in one of their sculpts, and only wish I could find the time to paint...it doesn't have much to do with whether I'd order Rainman's version. I collect artists, not just characters.

As for this poll, I'm really glad I stopped being freaked by the vote count back when it was 62...:lol

Ever just stop and think how many world-class 1:6 artists wind up here at SSF? Are we lucky or what?

Dude.... Simple answer: This would be a Rainman Mad Max. Period.

ps. Spencer already an awesome Ramirez complete with clothes and accessories. You may want to contact him or put a want to buy ad and someone might want to sell theirs.
