what do u guys think about the new suit?

For my 8 bucks, I haven't seen anything about this relaunch that interests me. Actor doesn't, suit looks awful to my eye. I'm glad I'm not a big Superman fan or I'd be disappointed.

loose the red stuff on his wrists, sides & legs. add the belt, and I think the suit would look good

Honestly, this new look isn't any further removed from the source material than the '89 Batman, if you guys honestly stop and think about it.

Yeah, but I like the 89 batman. This is less about how close it is to the source material for me, and simply comes down to me not digging their design or approach.

The colors are great it just looks like he's wearing a pool liner. The rubberish armor worked for Batman but this body suits rubbery look doesn't work for Supes. At least not in my eye.

Yeah, but I like the 89 batman. This is less about how close it is to the source material for me, and simply comes down to me not digging their design or approach.

I said the same thing in '88 when Batman's suit was revealed. I'll wait until the movie to judge.

Well, as you can see above, turns out those were photoshopped images. The real suit appears less colorful, which IMO is better. Still not my favorite design. But, like I said earlier, I'm not a huge superman fan, so my opinion isn't that vital.

I like it even less now that I see the colors are different. But like nam said, I'll wait to see how it translates to the big screen to pass final judgement.

Just noticed too that everything has that same Spalding pattern on it. Even the boots. Seems to me they'd at least make those as well as the "S" look a little different.

You can blame me... but I reallllly like it!
Dunno why but looks pretty CRish... this bulk, atror's face...

Hope that the movie will suck ass and in this case I will not want to purchase the third Superman figure for my collection.

Not too sure about this new superman film, why didn't they get Brandon Routh back? i preferred the costume the way it was

indeed, im looking forward to this figure coming out, ive got some superman statues but no figures, wish i had ordered the SSC ex with the kryptonite, but even without it, i think this figure is going to look really cool
