I don't like the mis-matched modern sports and military gear crossed with WWII stuff with a bit of belt mummy sprinkled on top look that he had in his flick.

What do you mean about disliking rubber suits? It looks like a cloth costume to me in Avengers. The only thing I don't love about the Avengers costume is the blue belt and pouches. It really really should be black.

I think I said before here… or at least have said elsewhere I like the shape of the boots and gloves and how they give the same feel as the stage costume/comic costume while looking somewhat utilitarian and modern.

I'm just happy Loki will be back in his classic/helmeted look. I hope HT does that version to double as a figure from the Thor film.

i don't understand where the "he doesn't look big" came from. he looks pretty brolic to me in this pic.

I think people expect humans in comic book movies to look inhumanly muscled like they do in 90s comics. The rubber suited movies of the 90s didn't really help that.

I was looking at this new movie artwork and thinking how many of these Hot Toys will make into figure?
Personally I'd like to see all seven of them. I think they'd all make really good figures.

Do you think we'll see all of these made?

I'd only take Cap and Nick Fury.

The new armour on IM looks pretty bad, Thor looks the same (in this pic) Hulk won't happen until about three years after the film, Black Widow is meh and Hawkeye looks like a BDSM spokesmodel.

You clearly don't watch a lot of BDSM.

I really like the torso on the MK7. Which you can see better here:

That cover artwork also ain't the best artwork in the world and imo doesn't do anything there justice. The Comic Con poster is much much better. The Hulk in particular looks amazing in it. I love his face.

Curious as to why you think this? Its more red/gold than the Mark VI was.

Hey Josh :wave

Looking at this IM rendition, it just makes no sense to me. The silver thigh plates and the angled torso plates...it looks like they are just throwing some s___ together. :pfft:

I wasn't a big fan of the Mark VI but that has more balance than what this picture is portraying. Hopefully, when we get some different pictures my opinion will be swayed.

If what I keep saying I think is true, I really like the mk7 design for that reason alone.

Hey Y4 :duff
Cool. I personally like the new look. It mixes some silver in from the Mark VI which I really liked and in the chest area has some cool/different openings where the gold is at. I think as we see more folks will come around but if not thats ok.

In dedguy's pic the torso looks much better. Why revert to the circular reactor?

They just went back to a circular plate on the armor. Plus the triangle element was still in a circle reactor. Only the plating on the front and the element had the triangle look.

I've said a few times why I think that they are doing the circular RT. I think for some plot reason the Mk7 is built on the MkIII. Josh can't see it.

Posting again because it's from a few pages back:

That's cool & you're probably right. By the time they preview this I'll probably have 180'd :lol

Yeah, I should have worded my comment better but that's what I meant :monkey3 I'm guessing they reverted to the circle just b/c that's iconic IM style.

That has nothing to do with it though. It was only the element that was a triangle and the plating on the Mark VI. So them using the circular plating on the armor is nothing more than them going back to a classic Iron Man look. If this was built off anything it was probably the Mark IV as I doubt they'd have stark go all the way back to the Mark III from the first Iron Man film to build a new suit off of.
