LOL :lol
Well it's much appreciated mate.

I can't imagine how cool a full display of all those MP scaled seekers would look :horror

Have you heard any further info on the FP Collector? It seems to have gone very quiet. Do you think that the success of Generations Wreak Gar coupled with the custom add on kits might have made them shelve it?

I've got to admit with everything else coming at the moment it has dropped right down my list of wants, even if it is announced.

Bob

A display of all 9 would look very cool although I'll only get Sunstorm of the Rainmakers as the other 2 are really just drones....Sunstorm did at least get some characterisation in the Dreamwave comics.

Last I heard ( directly from someone who's worked with FP ) was that Collector is still planned and will be released as the 4th in their Warbot series. This was a few months back now so whether plans have changed or not I don't know.

I'd still be intrested in it depending on when it was released as like you I have an ever growing list of other items that would take preference.

MP Starscream never got an official release here and I never really liked the color scheme of the Wal-Mart one enough to pay for an import....the G1 toy & animation model wasn't white, it was silver/grey.

Actually you are wrong there: The G1 Animation model was white, so Wal-scream is perfectly accurate. Heres proof.

Even the toy was pretty white...might look grey in some areas but thats just the shadows.

As those pics prove there were many inconsistencies in the animation models but the majority of the time Starscream was grey which was why Takara colored the Henkei version that way as they used the cartoon for their reference.

The vast majority of G1 style Starscream toys or statues also tend to be grey for the same reason.

If anything the Universe 2.0 Deluxe release & the Wal-Mart Masterpiece were based on the color scheme used by Marvel as he was often ( but not every week ) white in the original comics.

The G1 Starscream toy looks white in those images because of the lighting and the color of the backdrop, in person he was/is virtually the same color grey as Henkei Starscream.

Starscream was the first larger scaled Decepticon I got in 1984 so I know from my own experience and all the reissues have been the same.

iGear's Starscream will hopefully look something like this custom save for the blue being a tad darker,

Yeah, I'd say he's a very light grey. The MP version (Walmart Ex) I have works for me though.

At any rate, I'd rather see iGear tackle guys that don't already have a decent official version, but I wouldn't necessarily say no, depending on how it looked...

I am totally satisfied with the Hasbro MP Starscream. . .but I never did pick up Thundercracker, so would be interested in picking up an igear version. Which would, of course, be more appropriately described as a "knock-off" than the vast majority of other 3rd party stuff discussed here.

I don't want to start another Pizza Party riot but those things just...it's like they make me want to be a better person. :monkey2:clap

I would say that's a BIT too grey for me. I actually think the MP version I've got looks perfect - bit more like the cartoon model.

Fair enough, it's all about personal preference and you got the chance to get that one at retail so it makes sense.

Wal-Mart Starscream is now going for £85 plus shipping on ebay which is considerably more than the likely price of iGear's ( Based on Sunstorm's price it should be £62 shipped if I buy direct ) and it has the hip kibble mod so is a no brainer for me especially if it's got a color scheme like that custom.

Don't be fooled by them. Third party toys are evil. Evil I tells ya !

Don't look directly into their eyes or they will steal your soul.......or at the very least your disposable income :lol

It spells "Hercules"
Each number represents a letter of the Alphabet.
5 = E as it's the fith letter of the Alphabet
18 = R and so on.

Yeah.
I think it would have been better if they had used it as a sneaky way to put Devastator on him. Guess they didn't want to run the risk though.
