Nice review bud but...

while i like this figure alot it still baffles me on why hot toys would choose this mouth expression? as accurate as it is... its absolutely ridiculous.

:dunno:exactly:

I thought the same thing. It looks like he's half-way in the middle of saying something or chewing with his mouth open.

will always remind me of this

"Duuuuuuude."

Seriously, I love this expression. It is going to bring many laughs when I pull out the bat bong.

On a side, is that a wonky eye I see on that specimen?

Awesome! My toy dealer just told me he wont get the MMS 155. Sideshow has it now marked with 'checking inventory' what does this typically mean? is this a sign for low stock or even out of stock?

It's the step before going to full Wait List, which means they have a reservation for all the Batman figures they'll be getting and all the people whining about the ES being too big can now finally find some other aspect of the figure to slit their wrists about.

yeah, accurate or not I'm not using that facial expression.

And in terms of the ski mask, I don't know anyone who'd cover that Bale head up with that mask permanently so I'm not going to _____ about it.

I cant seem to find any takara gauntlets for sale, so i guess im going to apply gloss varnish to make them movie accurate.
I dont like that matte look.

I'm going to pose with Batman Cowl on odd days, with Bale head on even days, Saturday will be Cowl head, Sunday will be Bale head.

Not OCD, unless not following this ritual causes you stress, anxiety, psychological discomfort and/or impairs daily functionality. For example, if you lie awake at night wondering if you remembered to swap the cowl for the Bale head and it bothers you to the point that you can't ease your anxiety until you check out your Batman figure. It turns out to be the Bale head, so you return to bed. Then you start fretting that it might be the wrong day of the week, so you get up and check your calendar. It's the right day, so back to bed. Then you worry that the Bale head might not be on just right and fell off. You try to resist the urge to check, but rational thought loses out to irrational concern. So you check the figure and back to bed. Then you worry about whether you were looking at the right week of the calendar. By the time morning rolls around, you are exhausted, miserable, and you have to call in to work. THAT's OCD (extreme example, but it gets the point across). If you swap the head every day and it makes you happy as a clam (even if it drives everyone else around you nuts) you have an obsessive personality, but not a disorder.

Thanks for clearrifying. I was lucky and it has jumped back to 'add to card' and I was able to get my order through. :yess:
However I didnt get the 10$ off of my first order... There are more important thing than 10$ off but why advertise if it doesnt happen??? :dunno

The figure looks fantastic. Even the elements that have been reused from the OC Bats, look better: the neutral mouth with improved paintjob, and the suit with the new awesome matte finish. I planned to make this my first ever flex-pay buy, but I am still hoping to find this on Ebay with decent pricing. What holds me back from ordering now from Sideshow is the shipping cost. International shipping with Sideshow tends to be on the pricey side, but the worst thing is that they won't supply You with the exact shipping cost, until the figure is ready to be sent. Which I dont understand, since the box dimensions and weight are know exactly for a long time now. It kinda ruins the whole flex-pay experience for me, when You know that there is going to be a fourth big payment, but You dont know exactly how big, until its too late to go back. Plus they state the full value, so I would be likely to pay a huge customs bill.

Still the more I look at the video reviews, the more I feel like breaking, and ordering. And the ebay prices are still crazy. The funniest part is, that some people are apparently ready to pay those insane prices, even for listings that offer the pre-order. I would understand paying a bit extra to the scalpers, who had the figure on hand, and ready to ship, but paying 350+ for a october shipping, while Sideshow offers it for 220? Would like to see the faces of these guys, when they find out.

I agree mate. I asked for a quote, too, and got the same reply. However, I'm positive that shipping this to Brazil via UPS will cost as much as the figure itself, and when you add in the unbelievably high taxes (~89% of the price of the product + shipping + UPS), the scalper prices on Ebay don't seem too bad. :monkey2
I'm glad I have the OC though, because this release is getting really out of reach for me.
