So what color is this then?

Honestly, I could care less, but I figured some of you guys would.

I'm willing to leave it up to Hot Toys. If they give us both belts, then that shows there is indeed two. If not, then I'm fine with going back to believing in only one bat-belt. How's that? Fair?

If it's one thing thats proven from the show, camera's lie! Black Batmobile thats grey, thats not grey that is black. ¬_¬

Oh and so do colour profiles.

All I'm saying after all these years watching it, I never knew the belt was supposedly gold, until tonight/morning. Personally I hope they make it gold because from all the pictures I remember from being little, 89's promo photos all had black and gold references. It was so striking.

However, the reason why it stuck in my head yellow and never knew it was gold, the belt in the shadows always seemed to look like it matched the badge from a distance. Thats what always made me think it was yellow.

As for the DVD's, what screen grabs do you want?

As someone else said, looks like a mustard gold.

Watch we prove there is in fact two belts and HT only gives us one and you all get riled because there's not the second.

It would happen in the Ledger thread.

It's shocking how bad the lighting is in this. Poor hue's because of the terrible shadows. There's some shots but it's pointless to post it as it's so heavily casted in shadows you can barely see it. Only somewhat decent spot you can see little sparkles is when the shoe falls down. Even that it's heavily muddled in shadows.

It's hard to see that's for sure. Do you have BluRay? You'd think that would show it.

What about the scene where Bats is getting beat in the stomach, or when he swings his legs up from the bell around that guy's neck? There's shots there somewhere. Or what about the close-up of the belt when Batman grabs one of his thingies -- to shoot Joker's legs or when he shoots the line to stop the fall?

Yeah, I have blu-ray but sadly not the film.

After the Joker punch you pretty much see squat of the belt and if you do it's under the bright beam that washes out the colour plus it's fairly far away. Even the Bat logo turns somewhat white/cyan.

Really. Why the hell would anyone make a Batman movie with a lot of shadows and low lighting?

Ah, the ole belt color debate. It's mustard yellow or yellowish gold. Something in that neighborhood. The bright yellow belts and shiny gold belts you see on some collectibles is just wrong. It's a very hard color to nail down.

Umm....I don't think I'm comfortable with his belt in this picture...I feel slightly violated for looking at it. :monkey2

I think there is hope for seeing Batman at the AnimeCon still. Here is why. He was definetly meant to be shown at the event. The pictures posted so far show that the staff for HT had pieces of paper with pictures of the figures showing how to display them in the shelfs:

same as this

:clap:clap

Agreed, if you look at the show floor picture as well there are two sets of the Bale batman currently, one on the mid shelf and one on the bottom shelf to the left behind the batmobile. So I can easily see them moving things around to surprise people.

I really am excited for this, the teaser looks great and there is that picture next to the batmobile so I am really hoping it's going to happen in these next few days.

:lol

If it makes you feel any better, that's NOT Keaton, it's some gymnast or ghey ballet dancer guy who did the flying stunts.

Karate guys did the fight scenes.

Thanks for trying to console me. Unfortunately it does not make me feel better. If there is some inappropriate rubber dong coming my way it had damn well better be from the star of show.

.....wait, what did I say!?
