Hahha..$2000? Dream on..Iron man 1/2 scale was $2000 2 years ago...with SSC inflation...I will say these will come in around $2499.99

Yesterday, I stood by while a segment was being taped for some collectible blog or other, and watched Brant's facial expressions when the guy mentioned a price range of $1500 to $2000. Priceless, but not too telling.

My solid prediction now is $2000.

And happy I was not blown away in person, I didn't take to the translucent material. It's nice, just not for me. A bit creepy as has been mentioned around the con and boards.

Both Obi Wan lsb and the newly lsf are 1/2 scale. But why the likeness on this lsf is so dead on, meanwhile the lsb one are off? I know they are probably from different sculptors. I just don't get it. i just wished the lsb portrait is as good as the lsf one.

Do consider Wolverine "creepy" as well? Which of the 3 (Kenobi, Maul, Wolverine) did you like best?

Even though I found him creepy, Ben was still the one I was looking most forward to seeing and is actually my favorite of all the large pieces previewed. Wolverine was not creepy, just awesome, so glad I'm not a Marvel collector. Maul was stupendous as well. I did not take to the Predator, but that is likely due to my love for the Alien creature. Unfortunately, SS chose to use an eviscerated Alien carcass as the Predator's base.

If so he's definitely improving because I will find it hard to pass up the LSF. The LSB didn't do it for me and was an easy pass. I tried to like it and just couldn't talk myself into purchasing it when there are so many other outstanding pieces to be had.
