What on Earth....................?! How the.............?! Wow! :lol

What did you do man?!?!?!!???!!?!?!??!??!?!?
Why you :lol ? :pfft: :lol I was told I could send it back to get fixed/replaced. I don't think I should say much about how it got in that state, in case it effects me getting it fixed/replaced for free :D

That's some $350 US worth of quality there!

Wait five months and see if the body is holding up . . .
It was something else that caused this :lol I might tell you guys the story after I get it fixed/replaced for free :lol If it were the quality of the figure, I wouldn't be thinking about still buying a couple extra of these cool rubber bodies :D

Thank you very much Spectramr2 for sharing your beautiful and awesome Bruce Lee collection with the rest of us figure freaks and fellow Bruce Lee fans !

Thank you all. Beijing set was worth every extra penny! Another thing I noticed about my Beijing set is that the BD suit's "Damage" was more pronounced (darker) including the footprint. Here is the comparison photo. One on the left is Beijing suit and right HK suit.

You might want to watch for this when changing clothes. I nicked the clean suit behind the knee cap area while trying to take it off. There were unpolished plastic mold bits on the knee joint and my suit got caught on it. I guess everything can't be perfect. :monkey2 Here is what I am talking about.

I clipped them with a nail clipper, and smoothen the area with a fine file, and it should no longer be a problem.

I tried to get a nice pose for BD head for past 2 hours, but I just couldn't get it right. I am too tired right now, and I am gonna go at it again tomorrow. Well, here is one for the road.

My sugestion is that you tell EB that you got two figures, and the problem with the production error which caused one of the track suits to get a nick - and ask if you could return it for a replacement since it was not you handling or fault. Enclose the pictures of the behind the knee area. I should be worth asking, and you could ask for the replacement suit to be sendt with your other replacement if the nicked suit arrives before they return the other stuff.

Btw, love the graceful pose with the DB head ! You are really inspiering us other freaks with you great creativity Ahgnus !

I hope soon Axe ! ...and no errors in your set

I gotta know what Larry tried to do to get the leg that outta whack. I don't mean to laugh b/c I know how pissed he must be but I'm picturing him posing Bruce in a split, upside down, helicopter kicking 2 baddies like Chun Li or something :lol

Oh dear. This figure looks great when it's perfect - but the QC appears to be a real problem. It's like they were really pushing the technology to the hilt and in the process didn't make enough time to iron out the manufacturing problems.

I heard that the CEO of Blitzway was showing up to the factory himself and packing up the Scarface boxes just to have them out as close to release date as possible. Well I'd say old Bill should be checking each and every one of these damned boxes just to make sure that collectors shelling out big bucks for his hit-and-miss figure don't have to suffer the frustration and disappointment resulting from EB's lax QC.

I don't have the funds at the moment and will be picking this set up further down the track, so it's a bit of a moot point, but if I was cashed up I'd still be waiting for the September batch just to avoid the hassle of having to return a defective figure. Bill should at the very least get it out there that EB will wear the return shipping costs for ALL eligible returns.

This isn't a QC issue, it was caused by the collector :slap

Try to bend any figure in a manner it isn't designed to and it will break :lecture

He's sending it back, so my guess would be no he cannot :lol

Yeh, the old leg-out-of-the-socket trick was unlikely to make the QC list :lol

But generally reports so far haven't been good. Especially the apparent discrepancy between the Beijing sets and the remainder. I haven't made a definitive list, so maybe I'm being a negative nancy about it - but it seems to me that the perfect/satisfactory : problems ratio is running at around 50:50. Is this about right d'y think? If that's the case it's not a reassuring ratio.

It appears most who got a BJ set did get a flawless figure whereas the HK sets have run into more issues. As for percentages :dunno tbh I pay more attention to the sets of the fans who've been in this thread conversation for awhile, not the randoms who pop in & out.

I think its too presumptuous to speculate that the Beijing Set has no QC issues or that its QC was tighter... they rolled out of the same production line after all, and the extras were crammed in the same box, and the only 'personalised' difference is a sticker mentioning 'BJ' after the edition number.

Lets say for every 100 there are around 30 QC errors then the chances of the regular edition increases right? for 2700 sets it becomes a staggering 810, whereas for limited 300 Beijing Edition it turns into a meager 90...

as for differences in paint app and everything... thats pretty normal... again by math Im sure some HK editions who got through the same painter got darker battle damage etc etc...

ALSO My set has reached my local post office... I hope the postman turns up soon with my set

Congrats, it's almost in your grasp! :yess: :rock

OK! got my set!! :yess FINALLY!

Just opened the box to see the contents and make a quick check and came back to work (didnt manage to take the suit off the top to check the body though) First impressions

1. Those people who went on ranting how bad it is compared to the DX (and got banned ;) ) have done a great job by NOT buying the figure... it would have made them eat their words and not come back to this forum in disgrace saving the the moderators all the work

2. Apparantly my SET HAS been checked before shipping, as The head sculpt was NOT fixed to the body and NONE of the headsculpts have any paint rubs on them THANK GOD!
The feet were twisted and one of the socks wasnt rolled up completely showing they have opened the feet too to check. However it was dangerous as it was twisted at an awkward angle and ANY false handling could break the foot as you all know...

3. My box is beat up. Enterbay DO NOT use ANY bubble wrap. Just a figure with carboard inside to make it a tight fit thats it.. no wonder it cxame beat up. The outside paper cover though intact somewhat the inside box has one full panel falling off... The diorama was also coming off at the base... the base part was unscrewing from the sides.
My figures hands had NO paint stains from the bracelet...
All this just keeps the body left for checking... I hope itll turn out as well as the others have.

4. This release is MORE REALISTIC than the HT DX and the likeness is way ahead...

5. ENTERBAY have made another mistake to my advantage, not only did they ship my figure by mistake a month before... THEY ALSO included the EXCLUSIVE preorder black with yellow bands nunchucks by mistake... :lol
