Great pics ahgnus! That first one is awesome. Glad you got a perfect set as well. Its interesting you say the Beijing sets are different. I have a Regular set coming so I will be interested in comparing it with the EX set.

I should see my replacement heads in about ten more days.

Great! How long has it been since you sent yours back? I just shipped out my HK set's scratched heads and defective body today. I wonder if Enterbay has new ones in stock for immediate shipping when they receive my return items. :dunno

Thank you Rorywan. I surprised myself with that first photo. I think it looks quite good too. I must've taken 100+ photos with various poses, and that photo is about the only catch. The rest is garbage.

Excuse me, "Beijing set" figure has more quality than normal edition in terms of sculpting or paint?

Sculpting seems to be identical. But paint app on my Beijing edition was noticeably better. This is a limited personal observation tho. I don't know if you can generalize that for all Beijing editions...or normal editions for that matter. It seems that the QC process for Beijing edition was a lot tighter. Hopefully Enterbay has already addressed the QC issue, and current normal edition batches slated to be released in September are just as gorgeous as Beijing edition.:dunno

Cool pics Ahgnus :hi5: I like your 1/6 scale items you have him posed with. Eating a bunch of donuts, & still in tip top shape :D

Hunching the body requires quite a bit of force. It almost feels like you're going to break it, because it won't give easily. And you WILL most likely break it if you don't do it right.

When you hunch the ab, you will feel/hear a distinct "click" of the joint. From straight up position, I have been able to hunch forward 2 clicks and backward 1 click. I have not tried to go further in the fear that I might actually break it.
Thanks for the demo vid :D I'm going to try again.

Edit: I did it :D I managed to hunch him forward. But I did forward 1 click, then back 1 click. Wow this figure is cool. Thanks again Ahgnus :D

Great pics, I like seeing Bruce eat donuts like Tony Stark :D

Wrt comparisons of the paint app on the BJ & Hk sets, I didn't notice a distinct difference but I will look again. As someone stated it's quite obvious the QC was extremely tight on the BJ sets, though being limited to 300 would make sense for such strict QC as opposed to massive scale of the HK editions.

Ahgnus !

I am so happy for you that you have gotten a flawless figure set from Bei !

:hi5:

Your pictures are awesome - and I love the poses with the flexed abs !

Btw, thank you also for instructions and feedback on the flexing functions !

Gung Fu I'm expecting at least half a dozen kick poses from you w/ this figure :D :impatient:

My computer is on service, so I am stuck with internet surfing on my cell phone which makes my postings very basic and limited.. Plus I am extremely busy at work this week... :( Btw, I did take some photos recently, but they did not turn out the way I wanted them.. Maybe during the weekend :)

Thank you all. Beijing set was worth every extra penny! Another thing I noticed about my Beijing set is that the BD suit's "Damage" was more pronounced (darker) including the footprint. Here is the comparison photo. One on the left is Beijing suit and right HK suit.

You might want to watch for this when changing clothes. I nicked the clean suit behind the knee cap area while trying to take it off. There were unpolished plastic mold bits on the knee joint and my suit got caught on it. I guess everything can't be perfect. :monkey2 Here is what I am talking about.

I clipped them with a nail clipper, and smoothen the area with a fine file, and it should no longer be a problem.

I tried to get a nice pose for BD head for past 2 hours, but I just couldn't get it right. I am too tired right now, and I am gonna go at it again tomorrow. Well, here is one for the road.

I noticed this also. The parted out BD suit I got from ebay has a lighter footprint :hi5:

Thanks for that, I found it on one of the knees & filed it a bit. You might have saved me tearing one of my suits. Thank you ..... again :D
