Definately not there. Still, 30 hot toys figures and only the second one to have a problem. Not too bad I guess.

That sucks. Good luck in getting one from Hot Toys. Otherwise you'll have to hunt for a parted out one.

After much deliberation of switching between War Machine, Thor Barney Ross and Captain Rex, i have ordered War Machine.
I was all ready to go to the actual forbiddent planet shop to get it, and was excited as all of my collectibles have been delivered, but i rang to double check the price...
On the FP website its £160 in the shop £260 so i stayed in to order, cos i'm not spending £100 for the journey

I saw them and would love to, but i know nothing about water-slide decals, how to do them, avoid screwing up etc..
Jim's are technically just stickers...peel 'em and stick 'em...no water or glue or anything...impossible to mess up man and for like $8 you cant go wrong!

even a mod gumby like me can do it. I didn't remove any of the original graphics - the only one that should be removed for screen accuracy is the one on his left ribcage, but I left it stock cause being able to return the figure to stock is more important to me than being 100% screen accurate.
BTW returning the figure to stock simply means peeling off the stickers. Firebird's stickers are the the bomb - I normally wouldn't be waving the mod flag cause there's nothing worse than folks rabbiting on about $50 mods they consider 'essential'. But for under ten bucks I'll wave the flag a bit

Sure - in the close-up shots you can see these are definitely stickers, but from any reasonable viewing distance the edges of the sticker are all but invisible. If you want as seamless result as possible, do as Jim (Firebird) suggests and trim the sticker right on the edge of the graphic, ie cut them out as close as possible to the graphic rather than leave a bit of space as I did.

If you trim up to the edge of the printed image/letters you will not see any clear film. Each decal has to be trimmed carefully. For example the "001" sticker has about 14 cuts to trim it properly. It's laborous but worth the effort to do properly. Check my images in my original post:

Finally got him today! Now I know what Rhodey ment went he told Tony that his suit is totally Bada$$! 
The sculpting is amazing! Only issue I had was when I was trying to attach the machine-guns on the forearms, guess I'll figure it out one of these days!! First pics:

Good job Lejuan, the decals look great. I need to apply my set from Firebird to WM too.
