Looking back over these pics, this after some time might bother me a bit :lol

One flaw may have been OK, but all those, no way.

Don't be afraid to send these back. If it was on a store shelf, would you have bought it? If it was on a store shelf, would it have been discounted for flaws?
I don't see why ordering online should result in a lesser product, than if you bought it in a store.

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

Mine's got much fewer flaws. The above pics looks bad enough although might not be enough to return. If you return or order another, from SSC or Ebay, you might not get a better one. If you keep and sell sometimes later, the value might not be worth full. At least ask for a partial refund. Like $50. That's what I got.

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

I think it looks terrible. Mine is not perfect by any means but looks way better than what you got. I would return it.

That paint job is just awful. Looks like a 3 year old went to work on it with a felt tip pen

Here's how sideshow tries to justify poor QC at the factories..
"Each piece is individually hand painted and finished, each with its own unique quality and detail that is the trademark of a handcrafted Sideshow Collectibles product."
I'm a sculptor and artist and if I have poor QC it just don't float..LOL. That being said I'm mostly overly happy with all my sideshow products... It's too bad some of these Spidey's which look amazing and is my favorite statue have to come out looking like the above!!!!

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

I think the store may have received a returned/refurbished piece from SS.

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

Unfortantely several collectors including myself have Spideys with similar paint flaws. If you can exchange it feel free to try but dont expect to get a perfect one.

Re: Spider-Man Comiquette - Waitlist links available in 1st post.

This has in recent memory been the most flawed piece.

Mine looks okay, not perfect, but i think everyones has at least two paint flaws, unless its at close inpection its not that bad really overall.

You're talking in riddles! :cuckoo::thud::gah:

:lol:lol:lol

Not meaning for Bruce Lee the figure, meaning Bruce Lee as a body that you may want. I mean using the Bruce Lee body in the future for another custom or bash, in time you will gather that Hot Toys muscle bodies are pretty hard to come by and once TA breaks them down it's pretty much that window of opportunity to grab the bodies for future customs otherwise you will have to resort to the inflated eBay prices.:monkey1

Better. :D
