I'm going by what Sideshow said on their Facebook page and also what Tom said.

Just checked, my order went through in 17 minutes but I know that the clock was later than that when I was trying to check out.

My order was said to be completed at 10:01AM according to the confirmation e-mail, and it was definitely within the first 5 minutes, even though it was stuck on the final checkout page for a while.

Maybe I just got lucky?

Wow, people are already asking $700 for this on ebay. Just pathetic, because 3/4 of the people who got one today, and yesterday, did so just to flip it. And love the people who are on here bragging about getting 2 or 3 like they deserve some pat on the back for being a ******. Let someone else who actually wants one, because they want one, have a shot at getting it.

And yes, I got one. Just like I got a Guardian Predator last year, which is still sitting on my shelf, unlike those who got one or more just to flip them.

Do some of you guys actually make that little a money that you consider the $100-200 profit you'll make off of scalping these things some huge score? Or do you just enjoy being that much of an ass?

Totally agree with what you said! :clap :exactly: :goodpost:

Like Somone else said on here flipping is part of collecting sometimes when somthing is a sure thing to make some why not I don't know about most the people on here but 100 200 dollars is still decent money for pressing on a keyboard but their is always somthing Somone has you want and why not fund it with somthing else the only way to afford some of these things is with making extra cash aka flipping unlike others I only got one so I'm torn between keeping it or flipping so I can get a Tmnt comiqutte Donny and I will decide when I get him In hand will probably keep him but I don't hate the scalpers most people well I can't say most well I usually sell some high priced stuff on eBay but I always sell stuff on here for very reasonable prices I would never come on here and try to sell somthing for a rediculous price I like the people on here And enjoy trading and giving people a break on somthing they missed so we are all not bad people for buying to sell just collectors trying to get somthing else they want In the collector world it's all part of it well that's my take on it any way

Actually, I make pretty good money, but if I can get a preorder and immediately flip it for $100-200 profit, I just earned myself a free Hot Toys 1/6th or a sushi dinner with the wife for a few minutes of work. That sounds like good business to me.

Most people managed to get this and I don't tease those who missed out. I also never buy low from a board member to turn around and resell it for more; that would be unethical. I also stand by my deals even when I could back out months later or when a better offer comes to sell an item for more.

A sushi dinner costs $200 where you live? Sucks.
...no, $60-80 depending on if we drink. :wink1: but $100 would easily cover that and $200 would cover a HT and dinner. :monkey1

Everyone had the same chances to buy the preorder; yeah, server crashes suck and I do feel bad for people who wanted this and missed out. For the most part, people on these boards hook each other up and usually add to the collector community; there are really cool people here even if they flip. I have sold items above retail and bought items above retail. I have also sold preorders to board friends for much less than I could have. It is all part of the hobby.

However, like I said, people don't have to act like asses about it and when someone makes a deal, they should stand by that deal. I don't know if you saw the Guardian Predator or PZ EX threads, but you will know what I am talking about.

Members also shouldn't buy from the WTS thread with the intention of immediately selling it for more to another member for more; I have seen this increasing and it isn't cool at all.

Nah .... it's still pathetic. It might be their right and we are in a capitalist country, but it's still pathetic, especially if they brag.

That's what I don't care for, particularly when they talk about getting multiples and flipping them. Again, a point I made earlier. I really don't care what people do with their collectibles that they get fair and square. If there is someone willing to pay top dollar, more power to you.

But, when you purposely circumvent the system, buy multiples, brag about it, then flip them...just seems a little unethical and messed up to me.

Buying and selling is part of the hobby. Just don't be a d*** about it.

I was just gonna use this as trade bait for something I really wanted. never expected it to sell out so fast. I hope everyone who really wanted one got one. Good luck selling these for $700 on ebay.....not.

I love the assumptions that flippers must be poor because they HAVE to flip :lol

____ the haters man. THEY are the ones who make little money, that is why they have to _____ and cry like little girls. :exactly:

I also don't believe in flipping something purchased from a friend. I'll flip something if i obtained it with my own diligence but if someone hooks me up I would never and to this day have never done them wrong.
