Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

The head i believe is from the guys yes, but i thought it could make a nice modern BANE alternative.
IMO the head kinda work nice.
Plus it's just the early beginning, still need a lots of improvments and lots of tubes and stuff.

I am in love with this one. Your Batman set is really turning out killer! Bane looks phenomenal so far and your Joker look just amazing. And of course all your other work does as well :lol

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

what body are you using for bane ? it does look better with the hose's

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

I think it's a WWE maximum aggression body. Works well. Really curious to see where this goes.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

Exactly it's a preainted WWF maximum agression body.
I just used the upper body and replaced the lower parts with an ACE body for better articulation.

Yeah i was wanting 1 for my Gambit that has been sitting around for a while unfinished. I'll use the brown coat i have for him, its not bad but not as nice or as long as yours.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

He's gonna be pretty big, well bigger than Bats for sure.
I love the muscle definition on his back, pretty massive.

So upper chest is from a WWF Maximum agression fig and lower part and leg from an ACE body.

Bane looks great so far Seb! I'm really surprised Nolan didn't go a similar route. I was thinking I was going to need another T-800 body for a Bane when Hanouman gets around to doing one, but maybe I need to check out these WWE bodies :rock

By the way, you should probably let me know what I owe you for painting Hanouman's Joker and/or Two-face. Just PM me with the details.

WWE body is def the way to go for BANE looks more massive IMO.
But it require serious mods.
The colour of those bodies are horrible and look like cheap ass plastic.
So it def need a repaint, otherwise the articulation of the upper body isn't that bad.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

I agree. It worked perfect when I used it to make my Marv. I sanded mine first and then primed it with gesso and painted on top of that. I'll probably use one again. Plus, the torso is detachable and you can cement it to a pair of TT hips and legs. Just have to sacrifice a TT, unfortunately.

Re: ELVIS1976 custom work and kitbash

What kind of hands would fit the body?

The holes are pretty DAMN BIG!
