Please Hot Toys, make him so that I can pose him next to Superman:

"Say, Jim! Whooooo!!!"

I always laugh at that part. :lol

I hope HT is planning to produce the ____ out of this figure. Because it's gonna sell faster than anything else they've done. They should do a run of 15-20K, IMO.

If SS is doing free shipping, they probably expect to sell a ton of these.

What could they add as an exclusive? Maybe the crystals? Supes doesnt have (or need) a lot of extra stuff.

Lessee...

Part 1:
Green crystal.
Clear crystals.
Kryptonite necklace.
Box that hides necklace.
Crowbar crook bashes him with.
White cat he rescues from tree.
Daily Planet newspaper "I spent the night with Superman" edition.
Pen and notepad from Daily Planet briefing.
Football he kicks in Smallville.
Cheerios from Smallville.
Baby Kal-El (precedent: baby Hope that comes with MU Cable and baby Luke and Leia that came with ROTS Obi-Wan and Bail).

Part 2:
Giant cellophane "S" shield.
American flag he flies with.
Manhole cover Ursa slams him with.
Rear-view mirror he deflects Zod's heat vision with.
Tree branch he saves Lois from drowning with.
Champagne he uncorks at dinner date.
Exotic flowers he retrieves for dinner date.
Soufflé from cut scene.
Cup of water he gets for Lois.

Part 3:
Fake Kryptonite chunk.
Green bubble supercomputer traps him in.
Cannister of acid he kills supercomputer with.
Burning toy penguin he blows out.
Tires he throws around Kent.
Miniature Leaning and Straightened Towers of Pisa (possible licensing issues with the Italians?).
Mug of beer.
Coal and perfectly cut diamond he crushes it into at the end.
Dog food pâté from picnic.

Part 4:
Baseball and bat from Smallville.

:dunno

Superman: "excuse me"

that scene marked my childhood in a good way. :clap

Good list. I think crystals are the obvious, but the special Daily Planet would be cool.

Jye, you ordering this?

Ohhhhh hell yeah :rock

I can't imagine any collector passing up on a high quality version of one of the most iconic movie versions of Superman, especially if he comes in at under $300.00!

CR Superman will always be Superman to me.

Not that i'm not looking forward to Snyder's version with the speed ramping battle with Zod, but CR will always be in my heart.

1/6 collecting > Statue collecting

Oops, did I just go there :slap

Even I'm getting this, and I don't even collect HTs! :lol

I'm definitely excited. Should be a great reveal. Looking forward to Monday (possibly.)

:rotfl:rotfl

That proves it right there, this will be the greatest collectible ever regardless of scale, might even be better than the CM Supes :horror

I think that, once all is said and done, there is a better than even chance that more SSF forum members will own this figure than any other collectible out there. Maybe, maybe a Sideshow Boba Fett or another, fancier Vader with a higher edition size, only because there are more Star Wars collectors than all others combined, and that would be something any high end Star Wars collector would own. But nothing else I can think of.

Always thought CM Supes was not only overrated but executed less than what I've seen from CM. This hands down will be the definitive Christopher Reeve collectible.

So this figure is going to cure cancer?

Bring eyesight to the blind?

Add ten inches to your johnson and fifty years to your life, right?

Right?

:dunno

The forehead is too small.

This is a forum where people mainly talk about their passion for collecting statues and dollies...So, yes, it's going to do all those things. But it still won't get some people laid. :lecture

Agreed. Though i'd love to see a Sideshow PF too. (assuming Sideshows next announcement is DC product )

Agreed. And I'm a perfect example of that. I've owned a few HTs before, but nothing I absolutely had to have. I've never really been tempted enough....until now. After hearing this announcement and all the hype, I'm even caught up in it.

With how my girlfriend feels about my "dollies" it will actually hurt my chances of getting laid.
