Forgot to mention your name there. :( Still, good find! Go get this Freaks!

IMO any likeness issues are insanely miniscule.

I agree. Sure the likeness may not be 100%, it never is for anything. (Sweeney Todd is prolly the closest for any figure I've ever seen) What you get in this package is amazing.

Imo i think the new jack sparrow figure has the best likeness so far

Whenever anyone breaks out a movie still and compares it to a figure they're just bound to be disappointed.

For whatever reason, Bruce lee's face is one of the hardest to get right. But I have to say, the likeness is closer here in these new pics you posted above.

I think you guys might be mixing up a "lacking likeness" with Lee's expressions. One of the greatest things about his acting was that not only could he posture his body, but his face and eyes as well, like Jim Carey but not goofy. There are MANY pics of Bruce where he looks like he could be different people due to the extreme expressions in them.

:exactly::goodpost: It is possible to find two screen shots of Bruce and come to the conclusion that they look very different from one another. I find it kinda amusing for people to claim the HT portrait 'bears no resemblance to Bruce Lee whatsoever'.

This thread went off while I was asleep. Damn Eastern Standard timezone, all the action is in the Pacific Standard Time :(

I rarely agree with you Nam, but the Jim Carrey reference is spot on. BL had charisma and personality in abundance, he could switch it on and off like a proper pro. Apart from his incredible physicality, I think this is what made him so unique. I think he could have been a great actor in a different reality. But he was chameleon like. Comedy, cheese, or full on drama.

Sparrow? Todd?

I still think Barnes is their best.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

The Platoon figures both have an excellent likeness. I don't think the Sparrow is all that great honestly. Vito Corleone is probably the best I've seen in person.

Bruce Lee figure looks good to me, though I do think his eyebrows are missing. . .something. Last night I picked up an extra stand for $4. Anyone only having one stand may consider checking them out. They still have a bunch in stock.

Yeah, the Godfather is the one that outsiders go "wow" when they see it on the shelf. It's no longer just a cute "toy" collection.

Re: Hot Toys's DX04 - Enter the Dragon: Bruce Lee 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

Godfather and the Barney Ross figures have the best sculpts IMO.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to rewrap the ankles. Anybody have some tips?
