Have you heard or received any updates from them?

I spoke to TRU on the phone last Tuesday and they said they would have them in around a week or so.

But I'm not holding my breath.

I just love how the helmet is designed. Honestly, with the helmet on, the Predator looks more alien-like than without.
As far as closed and opened mouth, I prefer the look of NECA's 7 inch figure of the closed mouth more than open mouth although I loved the 12 inch prototype of the opened mouth.

I've got my preorder with Amoktime, but if TRU gets these first, I'd like to walk in one of their stores and pick these up.

I hope the info you got about these being in next week are true.

I think I might ask my friend to give me a good hard knock on the head to put me in a coma for a couple of days.

Yup, I remember the 12" proto.
I wish for once we can get a figure that's exactly like the prototype.
Alas, the painting process just isn't there yet. Oh well....

Time is slow when you're anxiously waiting for something.

Yeah, I wrote an email asking them to check on the status of my order, and they wrote back saying their allocation is not in yet. That it was still too early.

I'm going to hold out and keep my preorder with them until I find out that TRU has them in-stock. I don't want to cancel know and get left without one at all.

Whoa, just had a great idea! I can finally put those SSC stands to good use, since they were always too tall to use on the legs of my HT pieces. I'll need to get a nicer base without the SSC logo, maybe glue some fake PETCO crap to it, but it's a very doable thing. Gah, can't wait for these!!

Skip petco and go to michael's. The petco stuff is all good... but at michaels the same stuff is about $20 cheaper.

yes, I order both, and is becoming ridiculously hard to resist close mouth, If I somehow find a close mouth head or something on ebay, ( I really really doubt it) I might try to get it
but is getting really hard to resist...Must Resist....

lol I'm trying to resist! but it's really hard to do when you read some of the posts here that are ranking the closed mouth second best! It really does look good but the open mouth reminds me of the sideshow & cinemaquette versions!
I think the mask version is the most popular and will sell out first...check out CSC it's going for $85 now! i think i might cave and order all 3...
