Well you do see the Mark I in his Hall Of Armor case in the background in Iron Man 2 so it's a loophole but could be an excuse to do it? People here are talking about a redo of the Mark III as well and that is more part 1 than part 2 as well. Once again, the MK III is seen in the background during Part 2.

but Mark I & III weren't used in IM 2 IIRC unlike Mark II so I'm not really sure about re-issueing these armors. hmm we'll see..

While the way Nash said it can look douchee( Chad I love you bro) it cannot equate to the traditional scalping sense which I believe the crux of the problem is. There's nothing wrong in what he's doing(pre-ordering and selling) I think it's just the way he said it. I know Nash for more than 6 years and I know he is blunt with his words but he's a damn great guy. (Chad you can GIVE me one of those 5 right?)

I don't know Chad from Adam. I just read a dude saying he was gonna buy a load of these figures and then sell them on for over double and said it such away like he was king balls or something.

Well they did almost exactly the same thing with Batman.

Have you seen the TDK. He starts the movie wearing that OC suit and he ends up upgrading. Thats why they gave him the mangler claw too since it was in the movie. It wasnt just a rerelease.

I have to admit I did something that always irritates me when other people do it. I totally only read the first part of that and assumed you where asking about the Mark II.

I think you're right, a Mark I release is very unlikely.

Thanks for those links. Baloo sent me a bunch of screen grabs as well, so with all this material I'll be able to work on my custom BD Mark III. I'm using an original version so I'll be destroying it but the result will be worth it, hopefully.

Thanks for those links. Baloo sent me a bunch of screen grabs as well, so with all this material I'll be able to work on my custom BD Mark III. I'm using an original version so I'll be destroying it but the result will be worth it, hopefully.

I thought mark 1 was recovered and used to develop warmonger. Was it really in the hall of armor?

No not yet. Haven't even started yet, but I've been examining the hell out of the figure and comparing it to various screen grabs to pinpoint what will need work. The diaper comes to mind. I'll probably buy the new Mark II and rip the diaper off of it to place on the Mark III or I'll just have a friend of mine mold a custom, more accurate one out of real metal or some other material that would fit nicely on the fig. Of course some features will have to be sacrificed in order to have the best-looking result, for instance I will be glueing shut the calves and forearms areas to make sure that they fit perfectly. The armpits will also be getting a makeover, as they are not accurate at all. I'll be thickening the waist as well, and then there's all the damage, which should be fun.

Why are some folks so PISSY about the idea of a new Mark I?? Because they either paid $700 for one recently or want theirs to appreciate in value- I see no other reason. Everyone should be happy to get a new MK I...many want it. They could do a new headsculpt, some more working features or sections that can be removed to expose mechanics underneath. How many saw the redone MK II coming??
