HT original Predator- photo thread

Yeah well the first time i had it i only had Him and Wolf. And i thought i only needed one and Wolf was better. At the time i didnt really buy HT figures i was hording Medicom Kamen Riders and i wanted to buy them priority.

But since then my HT Predator collection has grew to the point P1 is one of the only ones i dont have and i have lost interest in Kamen Riders. And thats why i bought him.

Why do i feel like i'm being attacked for not liking this figure

When i was being selective i sold it when im being a completist like now i bought it.

... Now ive justified why i did what i did (which wasnt in question) would people care to say why P1 is superior to the others when it clearly isnt?

Really, you had one and sold it, and just recently bought another one when they're going upwards of $400, but you don't see what's so special about it? Why don't you fill everyone in on why it's so special you have to buy one a second time, because you've lost me.


*edit- Posted your reply before I did. Makes sense I guess, but still don't see why you're bashing a figure you probably spent some nice cash on. To each his own, and it's your money. Enjoy it more this time around.

I didnt pay $400 for mine. In fact i got it at a steal.

And i bought it because i intend to collect them all now. When i only had 2 figures and no intention of collecting more it didnt matter if i sold one because i only wanted one.

Now that i am trying to get them all why would i NOT buy one just because i think its weak.

ok guys i have been working on my predator 1 figure as you've seen well i did some painting on the face and added quills to him last night
here is a before pic

and now

if you cant see the color difference take a look at your predator 1 and compare

Very nice Mike! I can tell without comparing, because HT making his facial area too dark has always been a gripe of mine! Quills look great, what did ya use? I'm in the process of stripping the paint off the armor of mine and smoothing it out some,and then repainting it with BD marks and blood. Looking at yours I might venture into the quills and such. Great work!

Oh yeah, I was actually watching P1 custom vids on YouTube and saw yours. Bravo

Looking forward to this Mike. Might start picking your brain here soon since I'm slowly working on mine. Right now I'm practicing some of the painting techniques I want to use on some old toys.

Has anyone thought about purchasing one of the new "Berzerker" or "Falconer" bodies and "upgrading" their P1 (as crazy as that may sound...) with a repaint as well?

so i silvered the armor up and and darkened the blast marks i added orange to the skin and redid the spots and added more spots
