Robocop 2 or Predator 2

I am a HUGE fan of Robocop 2 & Predator 2, and i'm having a hard time determining which sequel I like better. I also would like to know who prefers which sequel and why...and i'm pretty sure some members aren't fans of either installment. Please share your opinions both positive & negative

Yeesh. Well, I guess Predator 2, seeing as how it was more memorable. But neither is worth writing home about. And at least P2 had Gary Busey

I grew up on Robocop 2. It's nearly just as good as the original.
The same can't be said about Predator 2.

Robocop 2 by alot. Always thought P2 was a horrible idea and poorly executed.

Robocop 2 didn't live upto the original either but came way closer to maintaining the atmosphere and just connects with the overall feel of the first film better.

I think Robocop 2 is a steaming pile... awful movie, made worse by how great the original is.

Predator 2 is certainly nothing special, but I do not feel the need to scour my eyeballs after watching it.

But, as much as I dislike Robocop 2 is; it is still a masterpiece by comparison to Robocop 3

For me, Predator 2, if anything, for the ending alone in the predator ship. Absolutely badass, and really took the mythology forward. I also liked how they changed the Predator design and added to his weapons arsenal. And hey, it's got Gary Busey, Bill Paxton, and Jayne Cobb in it.

I didn't care so much for Robocop 2, and even though Cain was very cool, he didn't hold a candle to ED-209's design.

Yeah, the design of Cain is the only redeeming piece of Robocop 2; but still not as cool as ED-209.

I consider Robocop to be a "one and done" film Just like Conan the Barbarian and The Matrix

I agree (particularly about the Matrix). I also apply that thinking to Predator. . .and X2

Predator 2

Everything about P2 is great. The Jamaican/Columbian battles, setting, music, characters, Predator design, the whole Elder/clan idea, the Alien trophy skull, etc.. The feel to the movie is just great. I get chills everytime I hear that screech at the beginning of the movie.
Don't understand why everyone hates it, has and will always be my favorite.

As for Robocop, I barely remember the first one, and didn't really like it. Ha

anyway, Robocop 2 was directed by Irvin Kershner and (partially) written by Frank Miller and was mostly hilarious.

Predator 2 was mostly terrible, but had Gary Busey in it.

Really? I'm shocked. I voted robo 2 as I prefer it over the original. Robo Cain was a great Villain. I have always wanted to get all nuked up. As for conan, destroyer was amazing! Especially the hall of glass! Awesome!

No, no, and no.
Nothing about P2 was "terrible".

The only part that gives you that slight disgust, is when Maria says "Fack! They're dying man!". But other than that, it was a great movie.
