Okay, I'm going to be the first to say that I'm not a fan of the head sculpt from that pic (preparing to be lambasted and raked over the coals).

I dig the sculpt on this. Much better than Duke or Flint, imho. He looks like an older, grisled veteran, without looking cro-magnon.

Love Duke and Flint sculpts both look great for me but I do like that this looks like a battle hardened vet. Has a Clint Eastwood vibe to it.

^^ Assuming the jacket is still a go. That seems fancier than Sideshow is usually willing to go for a 1/6th scale release, and I wonder if it is cost-effective for them to include it. Seems like he would be wearing it in the promo pic.

Well he has dark hair in the preview, which coincides with his version 2 look. I'm betting the jacket will be included and possibly and blond head as the exclusive.

I bet he's got it since they've already shown us a couple things with him having it. Probably just opted not for the shot or the jacket could be the Ex.

Love Duke and Flint sculpts both look great for me but I do like that this looks like a battle hardened vet. Has a Clint Eastwood vibe to it.

You know, on one hand, that is cool.

But on the other hand, go back and look at the card art for V. 2 Hawk as well as the artwork from the comic, particularly by Rod Whigham, who penciled the series through it's prime (though I prefer Ron Wagner's Joe art...but I digress). Hawk didn't look much older than the Joes under his command.

And yes, I do see the contradiction in the fact that I'm one of the old RAH fans who does not feel that Sideshow's Joes need to be a carbon copy of the old school stuff.
