Everywhere is sold out. The best price today is BIN on ebay for $230 shipped. A few of latest auctions have ended around $220 shipped. The RDJ headsculpt is the part of this figure that really helps its momentum of price escalation. I would be afraid waiting would end up costing more money.

That's not entirely true. While the price is going up, they're still available at a bunch of online retailers...

There are some others too that you can find with a quick google shopping search. Don't know why everyone is saying that he's totally sold out. Just more expensive.:peace

By the way, I highly recommend Toynk Toys. They're a little pricey, but I've gotten great service from them in the past.

Those prices form the retailers on the links are retarded prices. Can't believe I am going to say that ebay is cheaper.

I'd say that folks mean he's sold out for anything like MSRP. Far out, you really do have to be on your game when it comes to deciding what pieces will have a place in your collection. Passing on a figure and deciding down the track you really, really want it is a one-way trip to disappointment and broke town.

I got in early on MkIV, but even then I wish I could've picked up a second one. Or a third even :)

Not a big fan of dudes in suits. Unless it's a Kato custom most are pretty weak in my eyes.

every suit i've ever seen has never looked completely natural, and it all stems from the bodies. huge muscles, shoulders, and power lifter physiques. even the slim true types are a bit off. thick chests and shoulder artic that could be better..

It's just the bodies you think? I don't have any suits myself, but I thought it would've had more to do with the nature of fabrics in that scale. Lighter fabrics are better for representing 1:6 scale, but they're a lot harder to work with in mass production. Heavier fabrics are easier to work with but do not hang so well.

that's definitely part of it^ but even the best suits can look off on the bods we have available at this time. people are inherently skinny (or fat lol) and all we have for a base is uber men lol. it's hard to make anything look realistic when the base foundation is off.

was watching IM and Batman movies recently and both RDJ and Bale have pretty skinny silhouettes, even for a HT Slim. but at least we're moving in the right direction w/ the Slim TTs. now if HT would just make more slims!

Especially with the thickness of fabrics. Suits by design are several layers. Those older truetypes with shoulders you couldn't walk through a doorway with are really bad. Main reason I'm not a big fan of the DK original Costume figure. Shoulders are laughable.

dissecting the mk4 apart, removed his left arm apart so far, going to rig up the USB power wires into it =)

Have to disagree. Although I need to take new shots.

The good stuff is out there.
