I was wondering why I hadn't seen this in my searches. Looks like he's one of those sellers that will ship overseas but won't ship to anywhere but the US in North America, heh.

Kind of thankful though, I probably wouldn't have seen this before bidding and this seems a bit fishy.

Yeh, there're some great buys to be had if you search on ebay.com and not just your local ebay. Sometimes sellers will be prepared to ship outside the US if you send them a message - especially if you're from a country with a good record with how packages are handled/delivered - ie not thieved or rorted.

searched long for some takara gauntlets, but never found some. so i sent my hot toys gauntlets to seb to repaint them in that glossy black like the takara ones. Looks much better I think:

Now we all are waiting for Adams beautiful head, and this will become maybe the most impressive figure EVAH!

You should watermark your new pics, thrust.

Just incase those ebay seller decides to take your pics and mislead the buyers.

You HAVE TO report this even if it is not modded. Did you guys read the details? talking about taking pictures in the case etc just lying through his teeth! I mean if there is no mention of all that I could give the person the benefit of the doubt that he was too lazy to take his own pictures and did not know he grabbed one from a modified version but in this case telling the whole story and all he is deliberately lying!

I think since he's a member here, Thrust should PM him privately first, asking him to take down the misleading pics. But if he's still presistant, then perhaps report it to Sean, Shell or Jen.

..and ebay. It's against their conditions for a good reason. The image used to sell an item should be an accurate representation of the item, and not some rip-off. If someone is prepared to use an image that isn't of the actual item I think I'm bidding on, it'd be fair to ask what else they've got to hide, ie damage, authenticity etc.

"eBay members are not allowed to use images—including photos and other pictures—or text they didn't create themselves. Exceptions to this policy would be if they are authorized to do so by the owner, its agent, or the law."

He is not even selling it here so not sure what mods here could do
But on eBay he is committing fraud so it should be reported as soon as possible so the buyers don't get scammed as that is exactly his intention

You should pm him to take down your pics cause clearly, his pic is misleading. If he doesnt respond, report it on ebay. He should know better.

considering that only one is the rightful owner of the original pictures only one would be expected to complaint so as long as Thrustmaster can easily show eBay that he is the rightful owner of these pictures, Thrustmaster is all they need

Yup, I agree with Geil, I don't think this is one of those where there has to be a majority of people to report. Only the owner of the said property.

Haha, yeah you could be right. I really don't have anything against that someone uses my or other pics, but his own figure should look then also like this. This is really unfair to the buyer.

yes buddy, it's the modified head with the medicom mouthpiece.

I've contacted him now through ebay and asked him to take those pics off as they show my modified figure and isn't showing the original figure how it comes and that he lies the potential buyer and giving him wrong information and he should use instead of that his own pictures. I also told him if he don't react that I would report ebay about this. i thought it would be better to give him first a chance before ebay knocks at his door. Maybe he never seen the OC figure out of the box and thinks it looks like the modified figure? ^^

You are indeed too nice of a person but If that is the case he should not make this whole story up about having taken a picture of it inside his case etc though so in my book is is purposely making up this story

Glad you took action Thrustmaster and the seller took down the sale.
That at least saved some poor soul's heartbreak who may bid way too much expecting your heavily modded OC then finding out it was regular.
You're too kind to give him the benefit of a doubt, but still, there's a reason why we look for pic for online purchases...so we can see what were buying. It's just common sense, so for him to post another pic is downright scamming.
