Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

Size wise, is it close overall to the Master Replicas millenium falcon? I'm so close to getting this.

You should get one man. Won't regret it, I guarantee you.

Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

Cinemaquette is pissing me off. I sent them an email in regards to my flawed Batwing almost two weeks ago through their online form and no response.

So I called their phone number Thursday (no answer, of course) and left a message.....with no return call Friday.

Since you bought yours from CSC, call them up and ask for Richard.
Ask them what is the best thing to do in your situation.

CSC has an awesome customer service and they have a good relationship with Toynami, I got my adapter replaced in 5 days to 7 days.

So who knows if you ship it back to CSC, they can get you the replacement Batwing quicker. Hope that helps man.

Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

Yeah, I finally got in contact with CSC this morning (what I should have done in the first place) and they have been very helpful so far.

Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

there is always a girl who answers the phone when i call cm. and have to ask for george or norm, but have to admit not always a hit, , since george travles a lot and or in meeting, , but it is always better to call, then to write,

Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

Cinemaquette is only a couple of guys. The head of the company was the one that called me when they were starting to ship the Batwings. So I'm not surprised it takes a while to get to customer service issues.

I completely agree - to a point. This instance (over a week ago) was the second attempt in the past few months to use their form on the CM site to submit a problem with no response. I understand that I may have called late in the day last week, but there were still two business days that they could have gotten back to me. And the fact that CSC was able to get a hold of them in an hour or two just rubs me the wrong way.

Don't take this the wrong way - I'm sure CM is a great company and operates with the highest integrity, but I believe that my situation could have been handled a little better. I have no bitterness towards them at all - unless something is wrong with my Batmobile!

Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

I have to say that both CM pieces I own have come from a dealer and not CM. That's because every time I called CM to try to order these pieces, I never got an answer about whether they had stock or not. They put out great stuff but customer service is not one of their strong points. Definitely going with BBTS on the Batmobile, which I've decided to take the plunge for.

Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

Honestly I would rather go to a retail store to get stuff than getting it straight from CM. I always feel safer and more protected and covered as a buyer.

Alot of high end companies have really bad customer service, I mean look at Hot Toys, they sure pump out great stuff but when it comes to customer service, they are one of the worst out there.

Yeah I love CSC, their customer service is great and I feel comfortable buying stuff from them. I've been a long customer to them, been buying stuff from them since 2007

At least Hot Toys has the "we're in Hong Kong and not only do we not speak english well, but we're in a completely different time of day" excuse.

And to tell the truth, the three times I've had to email Hot Toys I've gotten responses in 1-2 business days. Not too bad.

Hot Toys is in Hong Kong, but alot of people have problems with HT not responding to their problematic issue emails

Yes of course. I totally knew that and completely forgot for a second. I think the whole "10th Anniversary event in Japan" thing has been throwing me off.

Yeah man, they are awesome. I got the CSC number on speed dial hahahaha. New stuff comes out, and if I am out of the house, I call them up to order stuff.
Are you local in OC too ?

So what did CSC say to you ?
Did you have to ship your Batwing back ?

Yep they got right in touch with Toynami and I have to ship it back. They don't have any replacements so I'm just going to get credited back what I paid.

Re: Toynami/Cinemaquette presents: BATWING & (coming soon) BATMOBILE.

oh ok that's cool.
so, are you gonna try and get the Batwing back somewhere down the line ? or are you just gonna forget about the Batwing and just wait for the Batmobile ?
