So beautiful....:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2 :goodpost:

I'm disappointed by the recasting of the Hulk....I haven't heard of the new guy, but he seems weird for the role.

Also Spiderman won't be in it, and if he is I'd want Toby and not Garfield.

Over the past two days I made this... final version should have gone up today but I missed a part...

check it out, hopefully it should get you excited for The Avengers!

Very cool. I'm not that talented to come up with stuff like that.
Thanks for sharing.

By the way, why Whiplash?
Do you know something we don't?

Me too.
I wish it was Norton but his Manager came up with some bogus explanation.

I think it's Norton's ego.

Haha, who knows... we never saw the body! This is the comic book world remember! :panic:

if we're talking hot toys.....and i'm assumming we are, i have to agree with someone who posted a page or two ago.....never sit on the decision to get a character you think you might buy in the future.....you'll always regret it in the long run when they sell out and then have to pay a premium for it....likewise if you're waiting to see if there's a better version coming.....my advice is...buy it now, sell it later if something better comes out....i've just recently done that with my mark 3 iron man and he completely paid for my mark 4 iron man with cash spare....so if it's a character you want.....buy it now, or regret it later

The Hulk PF has really grown on me. Doesn't mean I want one, but it sure doesn't look as bad as I once had thought.

Centurion I dont think that was the case. I remember reading an article on Norton saying it was Marvel who didnt want him. Marvel is a greedy bunch and they cut throats readily all the time to save money. They did the same thing with Samuel Jackson and werent going to have him in IM 2 but finally negotiated a deal because they knew he was essential in all the upcoming flicks. Also with Terrence Howard, now I read he was a total ****** to work with but then he said later that Marvel wasnt going to give him what they told him originally. I thought he was a lot better than Cheadle really. I mean they all are ego maniacs but I do think Marvel is a bunch of tightwads considering the revenue generated in this country off merchandise and movies.

I hear what you're saying. All valid points.
One thing I don't no for certain, how can we be sure it's not the actor(s) and their managers asking for too much.

Either way, it's too bad we're not getting consistency with the Hulk. This is the third one now; Bana, Norton, and now some other guy. TIH happens to be a very important/central character too, in terms of The Avengers.

For War Machine, Howard vs. Cheadle...I enjoyed Cheadle playing Rhodey better. However, I'll admit that has a lot to do with the script in IM2 vs Rhodey's script in IM.

Just to chime in on the Terrance Howard thing..

I believe he got paid more than Robert Downey Jnr. in Iron Man (which was a lot considering his screen time). He wasn't very nice on set (apparently)

So when Iron Man 2 came around due to the amount of screen time Rhodey had Howard want even more and Marvel simply couldn't afford it (as seen by them scrimping and saving with SLJ and MR). Plus it's unfair to have him be paid even more than RDJ a second time around.

Therefore Marvel decided to cut there losses and get someone less demanding and nicer to work with.
Good choice i say.

Ive read other articles over the years not to mention Marvel's threatening lawsuits over copywrites. Also there were legalities with Jack Kirby's characters but Im not sure if that was his family wanting compensation for people he created. I have no doubt about Terrence Howard, I read both sides of it. If they did offer to pay him an amount then withdrew the offer after the first topped box offices, it is really kind of their own fault.
I cant stand when they re-cast. It is as bad as DC movies and the ridiculous number of Bruce Waynes over the years. DC is doing it AGAIN with another goda*n Superman...IF they had more interesting characters they could build more and make better movies, at least with Green Lantern its an attempt to draw some interest and with Wonder Woman? One of their most iconic characters they could get creative with. Everyone loves to see a hot woman kicking ass in a movie, unless you totally screw it up like oh yeah...Catwoman

I'd grab them now. Of the main ones I can see Cap getting a costume revamp (he won't be plodding round in his WWII gear) and Iron Man will probably have a new suit, but I don't know about Thor being changed given he's so recent.
