Honestly, none of my friends have much genuine interest in my collection. A couple feign interest, but frankly I think they all think it's a waste of money, and it kind of is. But thankfully I have you all who like to waste money the same way. :)

As Eric puts it whenever I question my insane addiction with this hobby.......
"We are not wasting money on booze or prostitution and instead stay at home .. what can be so wrong ;)"
(though his opinion is not quite impartial as he draws benefits from my madness :lol)

Its not a waste of money for me. I often sit infront of my detolfs and admire the detail of the figures that for me represent my favorite films.

Me too. I stare and stare and stare. They have value for me, and many end up being worth more than I payed for them.

...but they are still kind of a waste of money. I was looking around my collection room last night and for the first time started adding up in my head how much I had spent on action figures/toys/dolls/whatever, and I stopped counting when I got to $3400. :thud:

I kinda don't want to know the actual amount I've spent in case my wife asks.

my pack arrived last saturday:

I already left the demon in the box and put the scarecrow with the rest of my collection.

I sacrifice a solid dress sense for the sake of my hobby. I would rather sit in my home office dressed like a pig and gaze in the most rewarding of ways at my small but expanding collection of dollies than don an impeccably tailored ensemble whilst staring at a blank wall.
