Very splendid indeed it looks like this could be a little on going story!
I also love your sandy reworks the weathering looks brilliant.

:)

Thanks for the encouragement, much appreciated. Not nearly as involved as a lot of the cooler things I see you guys do here, but a bunch of fun nonetheless.

Because you asked... a little bit more of my Jawas' misadventure. This predates the last scene by a few minutes. Added a couple touches of gold metallic paint to the bandoliers.

Thanks again.

BRILLIANT.!!!!!!!!!!.......,.BRILLIANT..........!!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME! I may try the same with mine.

Hey, if I could do it, I'm certain anyone can. Just took a hobby knife, some spare ankle joints for the elbow and knee articulation, leather bits and pieces from various figs, and a few darker color acrylic paints.

And since jawas were a ragtag group, you have a lot of artistic license.

Scroll up in the thread and you'll see a bunch of work in progress pics that others posted. Lots of great ideas there.

Got a few more pieces, so I figured I'd add to the storyline. These go right before the ones I already posted...

A couple of friends were building a custom scale sandcrawler in their kitchen when they decided that they needed cool ground effects lighting to make it even more better.

Unfortunately they didn't have enough credits to get any. What to do? Think, think, think...

It hit 'em. They'd swap Red at the Tuesday Mos Eisley Craft Market for the necessary wires and bulbs. Red, the same stupid droid who pulled that trick so he didn't have to go home with the whiny farmboy. No one would miss that old bucket of bolts and then they could continue their project.

They just had to change out his bad motorvator. Luckily there were a few in their pile o' stuff they could choose from. But Red didn't much like that idea. How'd anyone know it would be better than the one already up in his dome? So he convinced them he wouldn't blow up again before he was swapped out if they just left his head alone. He promised.

So off the three of them went, skipping and rolling along, basking in the sunshine on their stroll into town when along floated something shiny. I wonder what that could be? It's so pretty.

Those Jawas are looking great so far! :clap

I missed those other pics before, I love how they're playing with the micro-scale jawas (I forget what they're actually called - used to have a ton of stuff in that scale though!)
