Ok, I'm into it...I just think it should be a little dirtier I guess. I'm sure it will by the end of the movie though. I always kinda picture him alittle more gritty.

I like the middle one with the neck covering, that makes him look better.
That chin strap is really standing out to me, its way too tiny and dainty looking. Look at the actual M1 helmet chinstrap compared to the size of that little thing. I dunno why but its really bothering me. I'm ok with the rest of the costume for a single promo image.

"The verdict? Mixed. The straps and belt look surprisingly good and the outfit seems quite practical. It's The 'Captain' touches though that seem silly - I can buy the painted on wings (not so much the 'A'), the chest star isn't bad but would've been better had it been pale grey. The shield though simply looks goofy no matter what way you paint it, and the blue is far too bright."

Yea I agree he just looks too clean to be in World War 2.
He doesn't look like he's stormed any beaches, or been running through mud and hedgemazes.

I'm probably going to have to buy two HT figs just to make all the changes I want to make one good cap that fits my perception of him.

Well we don't know what scene it is what we see in the pic... It could be the first time that he wears it in combat, and the last time we see it in this pristine condition...
