no sir! it was on the timer count down then just shut off! but I really felt like taking pics so did the best with what I had

It's not that round. Look at the photo shoot with the grey backgrounds. It's only that round you speak off because his face is bunching up the soft rubber cowl pushing the sides out.

Maybe not all roundness, but wider. Whatever the right description of what's off, the shape isn't right.

100% agree with MF. Plus that damn giraffe neck doesn't help either.

The only reason I really pick up on it is because the look of the film cowl is one of the things about the TDK suit that I really liked all along, the cowl looked cool in so many shots from the movie, promos, just empty in the suit cage, the curves and smooth flow of the design look really great. I've got that general image burnt in my mind so without even disecting photos, I look at the DX cowl and just know it's not quite right, but as I said, all of the HT cowls have something about the shape froma front on view that's not quite right, probably has something to do with their perception.

The craftsmanship of the DX head is really superb, if only the basic shapes had been more accurrate, you'd be really hard pressed to know if you're looking at a figure or Bale, that and a proper sized neck.

Thats just....disturbing. lol. I will never touch my DX for 2 reasons. 1. I wouldn't consider it a real figure anymore. 2. I love it the way it is.

Also very random, but just want to get it out in the open. Do you know how annoying it must be to have to wear the Batman costume while filming?! Forget about how hot it would be, but you would sweat your nuts off, and imagine if you're claustrophobic?!

Though I find this impossible to comprehend, I accept it as a valid reason.

So, because I had the neck modified, this isn't a "real" figure anymore?

I'm sorry, but the shorter neck and custom cape are vast improvements. And make it look much more real, as in true to life. No it's not "stock" anymore, but it is better.
