You know Maglor, I was thinking the same thing, and was about to swap the DX and BR heads, but after looking at them for several minutes, I stuck with the DX head.

I feel that the DX face sculpt is better, but I prefer the hair and the paint work on the BR head. I think the DX hair is almost too flat.

Can't go wrong with either head, though.
The BR head is definitely an adequate stand in for someone who doesn't want to spend the $$$ on a DX Joker.

Well, looking at your avy, I feel pretty confident in saying the BR is a better likeness.

This is true.

Probably even better than the BR head, in terms of resembling Heath's facial features.

It's not so much quality vs. quantity as it is value. With those two releases you get more bang for your buck, quality Hot Toys figures and some kick ass sculpts (Bank Robber heads).

That was great that Christmas 2008 when it released. Remember all the hype and excitement for it? this forum went healthy mental for it. The couriers were delivering on the weekends due to the Christmas rush. Even to this day the accessories for the BR Joker is such a lovely figure. Same goes for the box art. It was like one of those fancy collectors DVD's.

To this day that figure still intrigues me. I don't know what it is. The DX is still great but there's just something special about the Bank Robber.

Totally agree, i love the bank robber joker. Awesome headsculpt, and just the fact its a different outfit and the bag, the gun, i dunno. Like you said, its hard to explain. Just an awesome figure.

The BR sculpt is better than the DX sculpt. Something I've only recently been willing to admit.

It is a better sculpt, BUT the dx clothing, especially the coat is MILES better looking

I hate to throw you guys off topic, and these threads are so gigantic, I thought I'd just ask. What truetype replacement would work best for Two-Face and Bank Robber Joker? I'm thinking Narrow Shoulder, but I want to be sure.

I love the Bank Robber Joker - my first Hot Toys purchase!
Besides that, I watched the prologue so many times before TDK actually released, the figure captures that first initial vision of a new, amazing Joker. As vodoun mentioned, the packaging & accessories are superb and I still love displaying him with the mask.

Agreed that the DX offers superior clothes and I still appreciate PERS, although with the variety of custom heads available, I've slowly accepted that the DX head, in terms of likeness, isn't as great as I thought it was initially.

Always wanted him, DX02 now has his companion.

I only want/need one Joker in my collection and I chose BR over DX01 for the following 2 reasons:

1. Value
2. First time new Joker is revealed to the world.

I lied, now bring on Nicholson Joker and my Joker collection is complete.

Now gimme a Tumbler, 89 Batmobile and Keaton Batman and my Batman collection is complete.

Guys I want to buy a sealed DX joker but I just want to know, were there ever any problems with a DX Joker straight out of the box, or after it was opened because of fiddling with the PERS?

My PERS was broken when I got it. That being said, It doesn't really bother me at all...it's just the loose pieces you have to be careful of.
