Oh, and the reason I visited this thread in the first place... I just got done watching Hot Tub Time Machine... finally... what a hilariously well-done film! I had a blast. Yeah, the ending was super dumb and made absolutely no sense... but it totally reminded me of the best of the 80s comedies, like Better Off Dead. Captured the feel perfectly. Loved it way more than pretty much every comedy I've seen lately, including The Hangover.

9/10 - I'll be buying this one!

Hmm...my ratings book 5/10 is horrid. 4 is a piece of ____. 3 is unwatchable. 2 is the biggest pile of putrid dog poop i've ever seen. And 1. is Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem.


But 6 is OK or Average.


As far as your rating on Hot Tub....I agree, that movie rocks.

The Town - 8 out of 10

Every once and a while an actor or actress comes along that is just so god awful you really wonder how they slipped in the cracks. Blake Lively has now joined that special club of awfulness for me. She was such a distractingly horrible actress that I wanted to score the film lower. It was the first and hopefully last time I'll see her in anything.
