Even though I think the statue looks awesome, and I especially love the face, I feel some of the guys are right --- for a $250 statue, they should at least get the storyline correct by giving him the Blades of Exile given to him in the beginning of GOW3 (since he already has the Hermes Boots and standing at Olympus) it only makes sense.

Okay thanks for the information terminus, and yeah cboling they must have already produced the 4,100 blades with the design so they won't go back. Another question I have is if they are indeed going to color the Claws of Hades purple >_>

Well if they aren't changing the Blades of Athena to the Blades of Exile chances are that the Claws of Hades won't receive a Purple tinge

This statue has an error,although the guy in the video spoke that kratos's carrying the blades of exile, he is not, the blades of exile has the type of helmet on it, in the statue he is carrying the blades of athena.

Just compare the photo taken in the menu of GOW3 of Blades of Exile:

And in the statue he has the boots of hermes and he only has the boots of hermes when he has the blades of exile.

Sideshow has made a ridiculous error in the Kratos polystone statue...

I cant seem to find this here, but if you look at the kratos polystone statue from god of war (3???) up for pre-order which i totally badass by the way.

It lists the blades carried by kratos as the blades of exile from god of war 3, now sideshow are usually great and only occasionally miss little details, but for gods sake its not like there arent any clear and detailed images of the blades of exile, hell even the game have a 3d visual of them in the upgrade menu and yet they still have the old blades...

This is coming in two months and although i love it to death it really irks me that they messed up something so obvious, and may not even bother to fix it.

First off, you're new, you need to search first. A few people have already moaned about this in the existing thread.

Second off, they don't "list" anything incorrectly. In fact, the product description doesn't say anything about what blades he's carrying. Only the exclusive says he comes with the Claws of Hades.

The backstage pass specifically calls the blades as the blades of exile, the bloke must not have been in the production of the piece itself, this is more kratos from god of war 2 as he only has the blades of athena (these ones) in the beginning of the god of war 3.

BTW, just cos im new to this site doesn't mean i dont know my sh"t!

I did a search but with no mention of kratos on the first page, i assumed people had mentioned him in post about other topics or something. Cheers for the link

The blades of exile do look way better though, its a shame.
