Re: Hot Toys Superman

Yeah, I don't want PERS either. If it HAS to happen, I'd prefer it to be used on only one head. Preferably on the "bonus" head if there is one.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

Me neither, ive never had a fig with PERS but ive heard horror stories of the lever jobbie breaking.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

Only because people don't read the manual and use it as intended.

Well I kind of have that attitude too. But think about it, I think we'd be singing a very different tune if it actually happened to us.

I don't mess with mine (Batman and the Joker) very often but when I do I'm extremely careful. But the thought has occurred to me, "damn these are fragile they could snap at any second". Not as much on Batman, but more so with the Joker.

____ happens.

True, but it hasn't happened to me because I use it as directed. :lecture

See what you're saying though and there are probably an unfortunate few whose have broke through no fault of their own.

Never broke a PERS out of 10 PERS heads I've had. I blame people not handling with care too!

Re: Hot Toys Superman

To be honest, I wouldn't like this PERS. The painted eyes just have so much more heart, look at the latest Arnie Terminator. PERS would've wrecked that up like no tomorrw IMHO.
BTW Mike, is that Christina Hendricks in banner animation form? lol :D

:lecture

Agree totally 100%

I am really not a fan of PERS, the eyes look so unrealistic to me, i haven't seen a figure yet with PERS i like

I really hope this doesnt come with PERS

Re: Hot Toys Superman

^^Hmm, probably, seeing as though first qtr is Jan, Feb, Mar (Winter)

...But thats not taking into account if the figure was to be pushed back due to HT really trying to perfect the figure overall. Has it been finalized that this figure will be a DX?

Re: Hot Toys Superman

it is announced as a DX i can probably wait a year more to have a perfected Chris Reeve figure, hope they make a new sculpt for Jor-El and Zod and other characters from the movie,.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

I'll see your Zod and raise you an Ursa...PS

Re: Hot Toys Superman

ill be happy if he comes with some kind of floating/in flight stand, a bit like the mattel version.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

Would love to be able to do something like this with him for display purposes also -

And that's an FX flying maquette used in Superman IV in case you were wondering...:wink1:

Re: Hot Toys Superman

If by wired cape you mean a cape that uses that contraption that came with the Batpod for use with Batman, I couldn't care less. I was never able to get to grips with that thing.

Re: Hot Toys Superman

im betting this $200 figure will put the $2000 CM version to shame
