What makes you think everyone will display them carded? They're packaged in such a way that the figure can be easily removed without damaging the bubble or card at all. Only the truly OCD would plan to never remove them.

I actually saw one of these in the stack at AFA's CV booth, so someone submitted a Boba to them for grading. :lol

Oh yeah, I got sucked into a thirty minute conversation with this one guy who was so jazzed to have the Boba Fett, and he already had it signed by two of the Fetts, and was only waiting for Daniel Logan. But he and his dad went on and on about their figure collection. The best part was his dad had bought him the empty box when it was first available for Christmas of what 1977? The kid was still in the womb. Pretty amazing, and of course they continued all the way up until today collecting every figure. Interesting conversation, but I lost thirty minutes of con time. Anyway the kid was going to have it slabbed and graded with the three autographs on it. So maybe it was his you saw.

BTW, I can say kid about a potentially 30 year old guy, because I'm so damn old! :D

Sold my Boba to a board member without even posting a for sale thread. I owned this figure for 12 hours and its shipping out!

:lol

Daniel Logan is not Boba Fett...for the record.

"Get him dad, fiya!" :lol

And I don't know that I'd be opposed to getting AFA style acrylic cases for these just for protection and a nice display option for the cards, but sealing them and grading them would be just idiotic, IMO, especially with GG going to all the trouble to allow you to discreetly remove and repackage them.

Sorry, but he is. He is Boba Fett in AOTC, as well as the Clone Wars animated series, which is actually quite good. And he is also very entertaining in person, not that that quantifies anything about is Bobaness.

Can't argue with that. At one point he jumped from behind his table (actually quite a number of times) and ran up to a passing attendee wearing a Jango costume and exclaimed, "Dad! Dad you're alive! Dad its me Boba, so good to see you!" :lol

:lol Awesome actor...

No need to be sorry man, I was just messin'. I am glad you had a good experience with him. I heard he was a ******, glad he's not. And I actually liked the CW storyline for what it was but I thought he did a poor job as a voice actor. :duff

I just got my Boba Fett from Gentle Giant and I am blown away. These are awesome, it's great to see that Kenner logo after all these years. I hate GG but I can't not have these. Well until they make exclusives that are unattainable and it ruins the line for me. I hope these are distributed through Diamond/Dark Horse. Carl any info yet?

Yeah, but no... :lol

My Fett arrived today, in perfect condition. :yess:

Only a couple things that I don't love about this figure. The first is the black blaster. I know some vintage Fetts came that way, but the one I have is blue and it just seems off to have it black. Even the Fett on the back of the cardback has a blue gun, hopefully that means the one shipping on the SW card will come that way.

The second thing I didn't like the moment I saw it at CV is the 30 Year TESB logo. Its tacky and gaudy and calls way too much attention to itself IMO, which works against the vintage look of the entire presentation. Luckily its a sticker that's pretty easily removed. It didn't last long after I got my hands on it. Now there's a nice blank spot on the flaming lower right corner where Jeremy Bulloch can sign the next time he comes over for SW Weekends.

Other than that this is one of my favorite collectibles I own. I absolutely love it and can't wait for more!
