It's hard not to respond and defend myself.

I agree. Everyone says he should just let it go, but other as well keep bringing it up by hating on him. One has to defend themselves. Everyone deserves repect here on this entire website. This is exactly why it took me a looooong time to actually become a member of this website and then start posting, b/c when someone voices an opinion, if someone disagrees with you, you get bullied for not agree with the public and voicing your opinion. Ppl say things like "are you crazy?!- WTF?! whats wrong with you!?" And it really makes you feel unwelcome. I was hesitant on even saying the little bit that I said, sure it was a WIP but it was the first pic I saw, b/c this is the first I've heard of this thread. That's my fault and I apologized for it. But I nor anyone should be afraid to post something anywhere on here b/c of other ppl ganging up on you for speaking your mind. This is a public forum where ppl should have the right to voice their opinion. Maybe it's that ppl don't know how to critique in a respectful manner, but don't get upset when someone doesn't think the same as you do. That's the point of posting your work on here guys, to get critiqued and opinions to help yourself grow as an artist and become better at what you do. As I have learned from my mentor Darren Carnell, you can always get better. The sky is the limit!
I like posting here b/c y'all are the only ppl I know who are interested in this hobby and it's nice to talk to other with the same interest.
Anywhoo...off my soapbox. Thanks :peace

Let's all just relax here. How about a magic trick?

Yes I agree. I apologized already, but I will again since it seemed i may have been the fuse before the lighting...I'm sorry for saying that something bothered me about a WIP pic. Now let's just move on with our sweet lives and get back to talking action figures :D

You are a sad, strange little man.:)

You know what elvis? I'll post whatever the ____ I want and there's not a thing you're going to do about it. Not one thing! I'm allowed to voice my opinion, and you're not going to stop me!

I agree about the cameras thing, because now I'm looking at the pic of the clothed Joker, and it looks different than a previous picture. It looks spot on in the clothed pic, but in an earlier pic the forehead seemed elongated.

As for everyone bagging on me, don't be oversensitive whiners.

:slap

Sorry Edward you should seriously kick yourself in the butt! right or wrong who cares but this one thing should eat you from the inside out!!!
I just couldn't believe what I read, did you even notice????? All this time you wanted some nice custom for cheap and if you had kept silent you may actually have had a chance to own a bobby 1/6 prototype Joker for FREE!!! :slap:slap
I always tell my wife.. you do not need to speak out all the time in order to get heard let alone get respected but when you do open your mouth you better know what comes out of your mouth as your chances to succeed in the above will only diminish

If it would involve getting a Bobby prototype, he can feel free to feel as sorry for me as he likes. Or insult me, ridicule me, whichever. I don't think I could handle taking a beating from him, however.

Sorry buddy, go to the end of that really long line :rotfl

There's a lot of losers on this board...this used to be a really good site. All the little brats and _______s use these forums as their playground now...

Come on people, Edward is the guy that tried to get a rise out of everybody claiming how inferior HT's Batman is to the Medi one which he called "The Real Batman" despite the fact the Medi Bats needs quite a bit of modding like some talented people here did. See? Don't listen to him because it's not fair to Bobby.

Getting back on subject now, Bobby, do you think we could get some new pics soon? I'm dying to see more of your Joker. This is absolutely my favorite sculpt ever of my favorite character. :)

One thought, Bobby - and this could totally be because colours on my screen sometimes show differently to how they are - there looks like there's a bit more of a shine to the black and red make-up than in the film?

And just because I haven't seen it from that angle yet - you remembered to include the piercing hole in his left ear lobe, right? ;-)

A fella posted some info about the makeup used in the film a little while back, forgive me for forgetting his name. Anyhow, the black makeup used is water-activated, and it was fresh during the mob scene, so it had that shine to it. In later scenes, it had dried and the shine had died down if not entirely gone away, but in the mob scene it was very glossy. It was hard to tell at times, but at certain angles you could really see it.

Yeah, I saw that too. I know I'd be kicking myself!
