Yea, the sculpt doesnt really matter to me either cause the faceplate is gonna be down.

Is it strange that one of the major reasons I pre ordered this figure was down to the donuts and sun glasses lol? I want to display him similar to how he was in the donut scene on top of my bookcase lol!

That is the look I want to go with too, so no, its not strange.

What is strange is that HT seems to really struggle getting these Stark sculpts done/approved. I mean Hasbro and Marvel Select crank out crap that don't even look like RDjr but HT gets a lot of trouble when their worst sculpts are above and beyond Hasbro's and Marvel Select's very best work?

nope, no chance that this won't come out. its one of ht's big money maker so it'll come out soon.

O and those pics of the III and the IV that fett posted for you, best to note that the actual markIII came out looking much more dark maroon then the prototype pic posted above ..the iv would actually be brighter then it and like the BDMIII it will actually have metallic like paint.

By the way when you are taking about the MIII were you talking about the original or the battle damage? ..if we r talking about the battle damage..then thats still a good contender for the IV.

I hope you're right, but isn't it getting a little late for that? MK III BD has diff. proportions than MK III V1 and MK VI...not sure it's impossible to think he'll stay as is.

i hated IRON MAN 2... wasn't much of a fan of the first film either... but holy crap this fig knocked me out on the convention floor! i absolutely loved it! one of the nicest figs of the con.

look how much the head hangs over the back ???
seriously hope they fix this problem or else there will be some more modifications to be made on my part... i thought hot toys would have learned their lesson from the mark 3 battle damage.

I was having a look at the photos of the suits last night and I didn't actually realise how much of a difference in colour there was in the real suits, proportions even look out a bit on the real suits, think its just down to the colouring of the gold areas on the legs but the IV does seem to be a little taller.

I agree, I have the two art books and the Mk 3 is more on the purple side, actually I think HT Mk 3 v1 is closer in color to the BD version, after looking at the pics in the art books.

I guess WM will ship first, then the Mark IV. We should have both before Christmas for sure.
