That person is only trying to make you feel sympathy for them so you dont file a claim and get your money back. Seen this similar thing before. Its a Scam.

You got it. Don't believe it for a second and got a chuckle out of it actually.

I am truly sorry that you have not received your item. I allowed my new so-called boyfriend to list items on my account and listed items for him myself, and I realized about a week ago that he had no intention of mailing those items to the customers who bought them. Since everything is on my name, I am responsible and have been scammed along with you. If I would have known what he was up to I would have never agreed to it. I have contacted e-bay in regards to this and they have told me to go to the police and file a report against him; and in addition, to individually contact all of the buyers who won items in hopes that I can appeal to you. I will be filing a report with the police tomorrow, but in the mean time I thought you were owed an explanation. I cannot begin to explain how horrible I feel about this.

I am a good person and a single mom with two kids who feel like I was targeted by this person. I lost $2,000 myself believing that he was in trouble and needed money. I hope that you do not escalate the case, and that you are able to find it in your heart for us to resolve this in another way. I again apologize that my stupidity affected so many people, but I am working to fix it. The least I can do is give you his information so that you can contact him yourself, as I am not having any further contact with him other than through law enforcement.

And the nominees for the most overly dramatic ebay scammer of the year are..... :rotfl

I would escalate the hell out of this case!

Jeez... now its 35 Negative feedbacks in the past Month. Ebay should have some sorta warning in place were when someone gets a ton of negative feedbacks in a short period of time, the seller cant put any items for sale or prove that items have shipped and stuff. Horrible.

Who cares? Even if it's true, her problems aren't anyone else's but her own.
Use every single legal means at your disposal to get your cash back.
If she wants sympathy, she should seek counselling or another retarded boyfriend.

Calling BS. Pulling the sympathy card. She would've gotten emails anyway stating that not only had the items sold but that she'd received PayPal payments for them. Go after her and let her go after him. She's ultimately responsible for your payment. If that is, in fact, the case.

You and I are on the same page. This is exactly what I thought. Why in the hell would I pay for her mistake, if of course that story held to be true. (Most likely not.) He/she/it can go kick rocks.

And believe me fellas, no worries on escalating the dispute. I skipped the dispute and went straight into the claim. Alot of my money just floating out there right now.. ($900) :impatient:

I didn't even bother to answer them. I filed the claim and will now sit back and wait for my refund through Paypal.

eBay will eventually NRU this seller. Eventually. They seem to take forever to bounce a bad seller, if at all.

I agree with what you are saying. eBay needs to hold a piss poor seller's money until the buyer receives their item or something along those lines.

Yeah, it makes ebay look bad in my opinion. When you see 35 negative feedbacks in such a short period of time, something should happen to that seller. Maybe a spanking.

And ebay does take forever to remove bad sellers. I've seen plenty of sellers with bad reputations keep posting stuff and eventually, they end up screwing people over.

It's because, despite being bad sellers, they are still making ebay money. ebay will milk them until the very last minute for all they're worth.
