I wish HT should have included more weapons which include the granade launcher, granade belt, gatling gun..., like how they did the Blade, with lots of accessories. I don't mind paying a few bucs more.

Hot Toys didnt add all those accessories to this figure because they probably have plans of making more than one t800 from Terminator 2.

Most of us here pretty much think that Hot Toys are holding that all back for the Battle Damaged version

Yeah they are probly going to do a battle damaged T-800 or a new figure with all those weapons. Since there doing another Sarah Conner its pretty much a guarentee well get another Arnold. The HT T2 line is gonna be badass!

I fully expect atleast two more versions of this T-800. I think a battle damaged version is a given either as a regular MMS figure or an MMS DX version. But I don't see them stopping there, I can definitely see them putting out a T-800 V2 with the same accessories and some new ones like the minigun, ammo bandolier, gloved hands and alternate head.

This is a brand new license for them and we just got a glimpse of an obscure exclusive Sarah Connor variation. Judging by Hot Toys past figures (Batman, Joker, Predator, Alien, Rambo) I'd be surprised if T-1000 and the T-800 didn't have multiple releases.

That's one of the reasons I'm passing on this one and waiting.

Here's a crappy pic of this bad @ss figure with his shelf partner...for now.

Seriously, that looks fantastic. A paperclip, guys. That's all it takes. You got it to look even better than when I originally did it on mine.

I'm hoping one of you with a t-800 can tell me if normal pants (WWII uniform) will fit the T-800 nude body?

Like I've mentioned I'm planning on bashing a Terminator in SS uniform to stand toe-to-toe with Aldo raine.

Would a paperclip not be too harsh? I'm gonna use a bit of black twisty-tie instead I think.

Thanks for the tip, Plasmid! :duff

:hi5: You make him look good, marf.

Oh, but I'm not sure I came up with the idea. I think I saw someone do something similar on one of the HK collectors forums (Toy world, toys daily).

A twisty tie could work if you find one that is strong enough, like the ones from some HT boxes or toy packaging. I don't think using a paperclip would do any harm though.

NIce shot!!!! I am so going over to Toys2 in person just in case even though he is not likely to have it but this is just too amazing!
If you want to be absolutely careful you could also use electrical wire with rubber shielding. Just need to find the right gauge that is stiff enough. there used to be coated paperclips as well?

If it needs to be really stiff, piano wire is the best. It's hard to bend but it's spring like so it holds the shape. Then dip the ends in modeling paste and let dry.

Funny that such a simple solution makes such a difference. It really makes the whole figure look more accurate. :lecture

Anyone have any info on Alter-Egos ship date?

Yeah I emailed them and got an reply on the 26th saying that they should have them in, in 7-10 days and shipping out pre-orders the next day

It's very simple mate. Just bend a paperclip or something similar round the neck of the figure and place it under the collar of the jacket. This way, the jacket sits tighter round the neck and around the chest which is more accurate.
