Anyone familiar with Temple of Doom should know he most certainly should not come with his revolver, even as an exclusive.

That's just the thing. I don't want or care for Sideshow's "take" or "creative interpretation" of a character. I want the character I know from the source material, period. End of story.

WOW, I'm away from the boards for a few days and I miss the announcement for the TOD PF!

SOOOOO Excited for this. I agree with all so far who say that he looks odd holding the Sankara Stone...like he's about to throw it. Hoping he comes with at least one switch-out hand holding the whip (might even be the regular the way that the Jack Sparrow reg. comes with switchout hands, just not the flintlock switch-out)

Also could be that the 'gripping hand' is shown holding the Sankara Stone, but that it could also hold other things? (again like the Jack Sparrow reg. that comes with the open gripping hand so he can hold the compass)

Either way, we'll find out this week, but he better come with the option to hold the whip...because machete in one hand, whip in the other is the ONLY way I want to display this PF!

P.S., Thanks for sharing your paint-up in progress Josh...shame that SS made changes after you sent yours back...Yours would have been STELLAR!

I don't think it would be the exclusive, honestly I wouldn't think they would show the exclusive so soon. I figured it would be revealed Wednesday before the preorder.

I can't think of what else he would come with though. Didn't Mola Ram already have the chalice, and he isn't going to come with Shortround like some people were hoping.

He didn't really have anything else even as a weapon I can think of except a shovel in the mines and a bucket to hit the Giant Thuggee with.

Now if any Indy should have had potential for a swap out head it was this one.

They should have done a more neutral pose like the poster where he's standing under the arch. Then they could have given him a removable shirt and head w/o hat like he appears in the sacrificial scene when he's under the influence of the blood.

Swap out head would be an interesting idea for this piece but I think you are right with the pose another head might not make sense.

I don't think a swap out head woukd work for this piece. The open shirt would mean a visible seam.

Has to be a switch out hand with whip. If not, I dunno what to think about this piece. I am still going to order it but it will be a little disappointing. Unless the ex is Short Round.

The exclusive should be the large skull from the alter where Indy steals the stones from in the first place. The skull should come with the other two stones (yes, I know, I'm dreaming).

Perhaps the exclusive is simple the other two stones, or all three stones painted like they are glowing.

We will see tomorrow for sure what the exclusive is. I do know he does come with a whip because i painted it. I also painted all the parts (arms, hands, legs...ect) plus his boots and hat however an extra change out hand was not included so we shall see.

He seems much too clean for a TOD Indy, but I might just order it.

It will largely depend on the ability to pair him with Mola; I don't think I need another Indy in my collection otherwise outside of the ROTLA.

Whip was indeed coiled. Alot better then the Raiders PF whip. Seemed slightly more detailed.

I think that the person who mentioned the chilled Monkey Brains might be onto something, but I will be pleasantly surprised if the ex is part of the PF itself.

Well I would hope the stone would come out of the hand rather than be fixed in there.
The should have designed it so you could swap out the stone so he could hold the satchel instead

That would be a cool exclusive as well.
