Ah, an opportunity to use the new :welcome1: smilie!

This is a great place for talking about those, personally I'm finding it a bit dead lately though apart from every 3rd or 4th day when new in-hand pics emerge for this figure. All the focus is on Iron Man with Hot Toys lately. I can't wait till we have both this figure and Sarah connor and also we're able to talk about the next lot of T2 figures. Hopefully young John connor (but doubt it), most certainly T-1000 and battle damage T-800. Come on, get back to the classics Hot Toys.

Thanks for the warm welcome. My dream Hot Toys figure would definitely have to be T-800 from "The Terminator" from the police station shoot-out scene. Before Terminator became synonymous with leather-clad biker look of T2, he was sporting the Khaki look which I find totally awesome. If rumor is true & indeed Hot Toys will make "The Terminator" figures, I'll be all over those especially seeing the mind-blowing detail and quality of their T2 offering.

You're gonna fit right in here, mate! I think i'm right in saying the majority here would love a T1 Police shootout Arnie, more so than the T2 Arnie we have got now, even!

Welcome.

....it also looks like just about everyone wants to get some kind of approximation of the T-800's Harley - with that kind of demand whats stopping it from officially happening?

Not sure what you mean by "officially happening".

The figures you see with a motorbike have a motorbike made by another manufacturer. They aren't affiliated with any of the figure making companies and only produced these bikes as models or toy replica's, and not specifically with any 1/6th figure in mind. From the length of time they have been released, they didn't sell all that well, until Sideshow produced their T-800 and the RC Fat Boys became in demand and practically disappeared.

If you mean why hasn't Hot Toys produced a Fat Boy, well if you look at their track record, the machines they build for their 1/6 figures have been movie machinations and not real world based, so they've probably been able to incorporate previous releases into the movie licensing rights. Combining one set of rights with another may not be what either or one of those companies are willing to pursue.

not to mention harley davidson licensing isnt cheap by any means.

i just wish maisto would make their diecast in 1/6th. 1/10th is as close as they come and it's phenomenal.

Any ETA on BBTS pre-orders? I've had couple of pre-orders that said "march" and still havn't shipped, but still say pre-order.

BBT still has not shipped any of the DX batmans....is this a delay b/c of the oil problem?

Well if i'm right and BBTS is supplied directly from Sideshow then this makes pefect sense. Sideshow doesn't carry anything "DC" related so BBTS must have had to get their shippment elsewhere. I believe they get all their DC stuff via DC Direct. DC Direct gets their stuff (Hot Toys) always last.

Hasta la vista, Batman!

No, John just teaches that phrase to T-800, I'm guessing he took a liking to the expression after hearing it while he and his mom spent time with Spanish/Mexican speaking people like Enrique.

I was bidding on a New Bright Harley Fat Boy. Starting bid was $9.99 and I was the only bidder. The seller canceled my bid!!!!:gah: What a ******.

Do you guys think they will release an Arnold T-800 DX down the line ???

They effin better not. Unless it is something completely different. Especially since we are getting this figure. But there always is that fear now, after the dark knight fiasco.

I think it's so cute that Shai is asking all these innocent questions about hot toys. :lol
